The Crown of Martial Temples--Jiezhou Guandi Temple
Jiezhou Guandi Temple, located in Jiezhou Village, Jiezhou Town, Salt Lake District, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, was first built in the Sui Dynasty, with a history of more than 1400 years. After the Guandi Temple was destroyed by fire, it took eleven years to be rebuilt in the 52nd year of Qing Kangxi (1713), and the main structure is Qing Dynasty architecture. It is the earliest built, largest in scale, highest in establishment, and most well-preserved Guandi Temple.
Lhasa Guandi Gesar Lakang
Lhasa Guandi Gesar Lakang is what we usually call Guandi Temple, which is located on the top of Mopan Mountain in the western suburbs of Lhasa, facing south from the north, built according to the mountain, integrating Han and Tibetan architectural styles, mainly composed of Guandi Temple main hall and Manjusri Hall. This place was originally called Bama Re Mountain. Because this small mountain looks like a grinding disc, the original Qing Dynasty officials stationed in Tibet called it Mopan Mountain. In the 57th year of Qianlong (1792), General Fukang An and others built a Guandi Temple here, which was called Mopan Mountain Guandi Temple.
