The most recommended place to see cherry blossoms in Dali
How many places are there for cherry blossoms in Dali? The most recommended is the Cherry Blossom Road in the residential area👏
1⃣️Dali University cherry blossoms, not fully open to the public, movie tickets or tea house reservation tickets can enter, or go to the residential area to need the homeowner to call the security, relatively troublesome. Recommendation index🌟🌟🌟
2⃣️Boai Road in Dali Ancient City, there are cherry trees on both sides of the road, you can also take simple photos. Recommendation index🌟🌟🌟
3⃣️Dali Landscape Community, the northeast gate of the villa area in the east is open to the public, no access card is set. Now the cherry blossoms are in full bloom and particularly beautiful, there are more people, choose to come at noon or in the morning to avoid the crowd. There are also large areas of cherry blossoms in the community, several cherry blossom roads, cherry blossom bridges, cherry blossom steps, cherry blossom reflections by the water, you need to report the door number to enter, parking is charged. Recommendation index🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ginkgo in the ancient city, worthy of the encounter
In the midwinter of Dali, a poetic scroll is slowly unfolding. The ancient city of Jade Er Road bathed in the warm sun, full of golden yellow, as if sprinkled with a layer of gold powder, that is the color of ginkgo leaves, that is the flavor of Dali winter.
Walking on this ancient road, it seems that every step is stepping into history. Those golden ginkgo leaves, like the pages of history, are turned page by page, each with the traces of time, each telling the past of the ancient city.
They sway gently in the wind, shimmering with gold, as if whispering to people, those ancient, modern, romantic, and comfortable stories.
Between the green tiles and white walls, the golden ginkgo leaves and the ancient buildings reflect each other, making the ancient city full of charm.
The sun shines on the leaves, they seem to be singing, the golden light is jumping on the leaf surface, as if it is the last dance of life. And those green tiles and white walls, under the sunlight, appear brighter and more vivid.
People stroll on this golden ancient road, as if they are in a dream world. The golden ground is like a grand oil painting, every detail is full of art and life. Walking in this painting, feel the blend of ancient and modern, feel the harmony of nature and humanities.
In such a season, why not invite three or five friends to come to Dali. Walk on that golden ancient road, feel the atmosphere of the blend of ancient and modern. Let the soul immerse in the picturesque scenery and feel the comfortable time brought by the golden ginkgo leaves.
This is a different kind of enjoyment, this is a different kind of life. In this golden season, let us together find the original romance and poetry.

Yunnan Dali Travel Guide: The wind, flowers, snow, and moon between Cangshan and Erhai
Xiaguan wind, Shangguan flowers, Cangshan snow, Erhai moon - the wind, flowers, snow, and moon of Yunnan Dali, is the poetry and distance that many people yearn for, she is like the legendary paradise, the last utopia in everyone's heart.
Are you not satisfied with life, why not go west to Dali; listen to the rain falling into the silent forest, watch the scenery of the distant mountains under the sunset... Dali is mentioned time and time again in various literary works. Like and collect this article, use 3 days to let you feel the wind, flowers, snow, and moon of Dali.
🍀DAY1 Dali Ancient City - Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas - Three Pagodas Reflection Park
Dali Ancient City is located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, the ancient city has four gates, among which the south gate is the most lively. In the morning, you can stroll around the streets and city gates of Dali. Between the streets and alleys, every household has water and flowers, enjoy the slow life of Dali's literature and art.
In the afternoon, go to Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas, the three pagodas can be called the symbol of Dali. Each scenic spot extends from the foot of the mountain to the middle of the mountain, those with poor physical strength can take a battery car to visit. Among them, don't miss the Tianlong Pool and Juying Pool at the entrance, both of these places can take pictures of the three pagodas reflection.
Of course, the best place to shoot the reflection of the three pagodas is recognized to be in the Three Pagodas Reflection Park outside the scenic area, which can be visited after the scenic area (included in the ticket).
The commanding height of Chongsheng Temple Scenic Area is Wanghai Tower, where you can overlook Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas, and also look up at Cangshan Mountain and overlook Erhai Lake. After the visit, return to Dali Ancient City in the evening. Taste snacks in the bar street or night market in the ancient city, and feel the night of Dali.
🌳DAY2 Erhai Lake
The circumference of Erhai Lake is about 140 kilometers, there are three ways: chartered/self-driving, cycling, and bus around the lake. Among them, the chartered car is the easiest, cycling is the most tired (not recommended for the whole journey), and the bus around the lake gives people a third choice.
Many people recommend Erhai Lake clockwise because it is closer to the lake side. But if you leave the ancient city in the morning, I personally recommend going around the lake counterclockwise, otherwise the photos will be backlit in the afternoon.
The main attractions along the coast of Erhai Lake are: Santorini (Ideal State) - Jinsuo Island - Xiaoputuo - Shuanglang Ancient Town - Butterfly Spring - Haishen Ecological Park - Xizhou, etc.
☘️DAY3 Erhai Sunrise + Free Cycling
After going around the lake, it is recommended to stay at Longkan Wharf or Caicun. This area is a good place to watch the sunrise of Erhai Lake. Relatively speaking, there are more people watching the sunrise at Longkan Wharf.
After the sunrise, you can take a leisurely walk or ride along the Cangshan Erhai Lake, or you can check in at the Fengyang Yicun Village in Dali. Return in the afternoon or take a bus to Lijiang/Kunming.
The above is the guide for the three-day tour of Dali. Dali is actually a slow life city. The hurried check-in for 3 days is just a quick taste of her. If you have more time to stay, climb Cangshan, take a boat, visit Tianlong Babu Film and Television City, Dali has many surprises waiting for you to discover.

🏡Dali Accommodation Recommendation
🌈Longkan Wharf (you can watch the sunrise)
The best place to watch the sunrise, living at the wharf will not be very rushed, you can take photos with seagulls, and there are redwoods to shoot in autumn and winter, very out of the picture
🌈Dali Ancient City (relatively cheap)
There are many homestays in the ancient city, and the price is relatively cheap. Drink a little wine in the ancient city at night, and then go back to the hotel is very convenient
🌈Shuanglang (watch "sea view")
Shuanglang is in the east of the sea, watching the sunset is simply amazing! Surrounded by Erhai Lake, the price is relatively expensive compared to the ancient city, you can stay for one night to experience it!
·
⭕Dali Travel Tips:

💓Dali has a very slow speed limit, pay attention to the speed limit sign if you drive by yourself
💓It is recommended to choose a guest house or homestay for accommodation, which has more local characteristics
💓Don't buy silverware in the ancient city and scenic spots! Be careful of being slaughtered
💓Many friends are not used to eating grilled milk fans, don't buy too many at once, buy more if you like to eat
💓Dali has a large temperature difference between day and night, it is recommended to bring a jacket
💓Don't forget to bring your student ID, many attractions have discounts
💓Shoes must be comfortable, because the attractions are scattered, it's really hard if the shoes are uncomfortable

Dali - Erhai lake and the mountains
Dali city is a county level city that actually encompasses all the settlements surrounding the Erhai Lake. The modern central part is located in the south and is your most probable entry point since the bus and train stations are located there. That part is also probably the one you will be least interested in. Although it's coastal area does have nice views and some fancy hotels most travelers head out to one of the smaller places around the lake, most notably the Dali Old Town. Dali Old town is technically a tourist center and most travelers choose to stay in or around it. The famed three pagodas as well as the starting point for climbing CangShan are all located near the Old Town. The town itself is nice enough and rather big. The fact that it is not pedestrianized and that pavements are very often blocked with stalls and parked cars does make it a bit hectic, especially in the high season, so staying on the fringes of it is probably a better option. To be honest, most of the things we wanted to see and do In Dali had nothing to do with the Old Town itself. It is a good place to eat and drink though, although 'tourist surcharge' will most certainly apply.
If you have not arrived by car, renting an e-bike for exploring short distances is actually a good idea. The three of us got on one e-bike and squeezed it out of all of its juice while exploring around. So much so, that we actually had to recharge on the way because the declared 70km range probably did not refer to a 160kg+ weight-load. Great way to discover surrounding villages that offer a bit more authenticity and bit less crowds that the Dali Old town. Most of the town pictures you see above(5-6-7) are actually from XiZhou (喜洲古镇) a smaller village further north really worth a visit. Quite a lot of people also like renting one of the pink convertibles and I suppose it is a good way to reach farther as well as take that ever so important Instagram photos.
I would come here again. The place does offer some real peace and quiet as well a serene landscape, even though it is often hidden by noise of the crowds and commerce.

Culture of a different kind in Dali
#yunnan #china #dali
After exploring the cobbled streets of Lijiang’s old towns with their wooden buildings and cultural dress, we thought we knew what to expect when arriving at Dali Ancient City, but boy were we surprised!
Dali boats culture of a completely different kind, akin to Shoreditch in London, with long haired artists selling their wares, bearded musicians playing music that spills out of the front of every bar and cafe and fortune tellers offering to give you a glimpse into the future.
We loved the vibe here and absolutely recommend you come at night for the great food options and lively experience.

Dali Ancient City
The ancient city of Dali is rebuilt on the foundation of Yangyu City in the early Ming Dynasty. The beauty of this city lies in the scene of the old Bai houses between Cangshan and Erhai lake. This city is very beautiful. You can find flowers in this city the whole year.
Many festivals of the Bai people are concentrated in March to April each year. The are some cultural songs and performances which you will enjoy.
There are many local specialties you should try like coffee, tea, rice noodles and many more. The weather in this place is wonderful. You would love to visit this place especially in summer where other cities could melt you down but Dali will make you feel the fresh air and cool wind. #awesomepic #historicculture

Dali Old City
Dali Old City is such a wonderful place. You can walk around the place and check different restaurants (Western or Chinese). Cars aren’t allowed to enter in the vicinity and so do not bring lots of things.
Our hotel is located in the area and so it was perfect for us to enjoy the entire night at Dali Old City. You can also try to wear their traditional costumes and take pictures but it is expensive. You have an option to choose with the package inclusion such as make up and official photographer. If you’re planning to go to Shangri-La, costume rentals there are cheaper.
