Universal symmetry
Nothing can be perfect, as the saying goes 📖. Perfection is objective and all our life we just keep trying to attain that; a never ending goal. But when it comes to numbers and math 🤓, it is perfect. Be it the size, scale and calculation 🧮 to make something work; math has always has to be perfect. Otherwise, we wouldn't have achieved the success of packing our stuffs to 🤖Mars. Somehow our ancestors has realized and started this way long ago, in the name of buildings and architecture. These temples in three Pagodas monastery where the main Buddha is resided, is embraced by the small temples. As I took the picture 📸 from the very last Temple top. I can clearly see the symmetry in how this is built. It is a human wonder to be such precise even back in the days when no computer was there. This temple is such a marvel🤩 #dalitravel #pagoda

Chongsheng Temple
Chongsheng Temple, facing Erhai Lake to the east and Cangshan Mountain to the west, is located about one kilometer north of the ancient city of Dali in Yunnan Province, at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and on the shore of Erhai Lake.
It is famous for the three towers in the temple, also known as 'The Three Pagodas of Dali'; it is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China, and was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 1961. It is like three giant pens, making the ancient city more magnificent, adding a lot of glory to the scenery of Cangshan and Erhai. The three towers have always been the symbol of Dali. They were the buildings in front of the old Chongsheng Temple (also known as 'Tianlong Temple' in Jin Yong's martial arts novel 'Tianlong Babu'). Now the ancient temple no longer exists, but the three towers still stand tall. The three towers are one of the oldest existing buildings in Yunnan, and they are also a famous group of towers in China.

Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas
I think it is the most worthwhile cultural landscape in Dali besides the unique natural landscapes such as blue sky, white clouds, sunshine, Cangshan Mountain, and Erhai Lake.
Before going there, I didn't know about its history, I just looked at it from a distance all the way, and was inexplicably attracted by it. From a distance, you can feel its uniqueness and uniqueness.
After learning about its history, I knew that the main tower among the three towers: Qianxun Tower, has a history of more than a thousand years. It was built by the ancients to solve the water problems, benefit the people, and protect the people's safety. I heard that it has many legendary stories.
The four words 'Yongzhen Mountain and River' are very powerful, and you can feel the power and determination of the people who built this tower to protect the people.
The royal temple, a step a view. The wisdom and aesthetics of the ancients are fully demonstrated in this temple. Whether it is the address, architecture, or layout, it is so ingenious and harmonious, even every plant is so beautiful.
There are also more than 10,000 Buddha and Bodhisattva statues of various sizes here, which are worth a deep tour.
In the temple at the highest point, you can have a close view of Cangshan Mountain, overlook Erhai Lake, and occasionally for a moment, you can vaguely feel the generations here.

Chongsheng Temple, facing Erhai Lake to the east and Cangshan Mountain to the west, is located about one kilometer north of the ancient city of Dali in Yunnan Province, at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and on the shore of Erhai Lake. Historically, 9 emperors of Dali became monks at Chongsheng Temple, which is called 'Tianlong Temple' in Jin Yong's martial arts novel 'Tianlong Babu'.
Chongsheng Temple was once famous for its five major treasures (three pagodas, Nanzhao's great bell, rain copper Guanyin statue, three holy gold statues, and 'Buddha Capital' plaque), but Chongsheng Temple and the other four treasures were all destroyed by wars and natural disasters over the centuries.
The three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple consist of one large and two small ones. The large pagoda is called Qianxun Pagoda.
The distance between Qianxun Pagoda and the two small pagodas to the north and south is 70 meters, forming a tripod. The existing height of Qianxun Pagoda is 69.13 meters, the bottom width is 9.9 meters, it is a square dense eaves hollow brick pagoda, with a total of 16 levels, it is one of the tallest existing pagodas in China, and it is a typical Tang Dynasty building along with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Small Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an. The interior wall of the pagoda body runs vertically up and down, with a wooden staircase.
📝Note tips:
You can encounter it by walking around Erhai Lake. Those who understand the history of Yunnan and Buddhism will have a deeper feeling.

Go to the windy place, Dali in Yunnan.
[Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas in Dali: Profound, Auspicious, and Endless]Located in Dali, Yunnan, the Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas face the Cangshan Mountains to the west and the Erhai Lake to the east. They were built during the reign of King Quanfengyou of the Nanzhao Kingdom. The main pagoda, Qianxun Pagoda, stands in the center, while the two smaller pagodas guard the north and south sides, standing firmly and majestically. The art of pagoda construction reached its peak here, making it a landmark of Dali and a testament to the flourishing of Buddhism in the area. Later, the grand Chongsheng Temple was built, which was a famous royal temple of the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms and was once renowned for its five great treasures. Chongsheng Temple is also the Tianlong Temple in the novel "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber".
