Benjakitti Park in the heart of Bangkok is a serene and refreshing urban oasis that offers a delightful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. As I entered this lush green haven, I was immediately struck by the tranquil ambiance and the picturesque lake at its center.
The park's well-maintained paths are perfect for a leisurely stroll, jog, or bike ride. The stunning skyline views, especially during sunset, create a captivating backdrop. Benjakitti Park is not just about nature; it's also a hub for outdoor activities and exercise.
What truly sets Benjakitti Park apart is its fusion of urban convenience and natural beauty. It's a place where you can recharge, unwind, and connect with the serenity of nature right in the heart of the city.

Quiet place to escape Benjakitti Forest Park
🏞️ Attraction: Benjakitti Park
📍 Location: Ratchadapisek Road (between Rama IV Road and Sukhumvit Road), Khlong Toei, Bangkok, Thailand
It is close to Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT station, Sukhumvit MRT station and Asok BTS station.
🚆 Best way to get there by MRT, BTS
Genuinely Bangkok’s most beautiful park and free to visit.
Popular with walkers, picnickers and joggers (plus the ideal photo spot), Benjakitti Parks offers stunning views of the city and its forest, from numerous boardwalks, sprawling across a vast and verdant 180 acre site.
Given all the trees, mangroves and water features, it is hard to believe you are still in the heart of one of the largest cities in the world. Whilst New York has Central Park, Bangkok has Benjakitti Park, a wonderful place to visit and explore.
Whilst you may have heard of Lumpini Park before, Benjakitti Forest Park is less well known, but in our opinion, a much nicer urban green space to explore.
☘️ Open from 4.30 a.m. to 21.00 p.m

Benchakitti park - Hidden Gem
Lovely walking path and interesting experience for travelers to see many sides of Bangkok in just 2-3 km distance. If you start from Benjakitti park, the first section provides a leafy quiet path along a canal, which is quite pleasant. Then the walkway takes you over a major highway towards the second section, through a local neighborhood, which offers a nice detour to explore the backalleys of the city. Finally you will arrive at a busy intersection surrounded by high-rise buildings and a staircase taking you to Lumpini park.

Best Park in Bangkok
Benchakitti Park is right in the middle of central Bangkok.
It’s a large space that is enjoyed by all, from early morning runners to late evening walks you can find alot of events going on.
A highlight of the park is their “sky walk” which is an elevated platform walk way that gives you a great view of the skyline - tip! this lights up at night so it’s worth going late if you want to avoid the heat and enjoy a different vibe.
It’s walkable from Asok BTS or QSNCC MRT#newyearadventure #bangkok

Benjakitti Park (aka Benjakiti or Benchakiti Park) is located in Asok, Downtown Bangkok, and it is a few steps away from BTS Station Asoke and MRT Station Sukhumvit. You can also enter the park via MRT Station Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. In fact, we believe it's convenient and more accessible. There a lot of tree and skywalk though the park and also the nice place for chilling in the evening for sunset
Staying healthy is really important even when on holiday, so grab your running shoes as we take you to Benjakitti Park for some outdoor activities.

Sunset strolls at benjakitti forest park
#2023travelwish
Going for a sunset evening walk in the benjakitti park is one of the best things you can do in Bangkok. If you are walking on the bridge you feel like you are in a big forest or jungle even though you are in the center of a concrete jungle. The buildings around the park also look very artsy. In the neighbourhood are many different restaurants and shops
Green lung right in the central of bkk
Benjakitti park is conveniently located besides Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
Come here in the evening to experience a truly magical moment away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok downtown.
One round the lake is around 2km and to clock in some extra effort, 2 rounds will suffice for a decent 20 to 30 minutes jog/run. Coupled with a lovely sunset as it lights the sky pink, it really makes the run so much special..
After running, just pop into the convention centre for a bite/drink. many cafes and restaurants there. i got a shot at pacamara which helps to add the extra boost after a run..#awesomepic #run #jog
Benchakitti Park - Bangkok
Best park in Bangkok. Especially with the new development. You can walk on the long ramps, or on the road bellow. There’s a green lane connector to lumphini park too, which is equally nice. I wish they had more trees tho so that we can also enjoy it during the day when the sun is high. Beautiful and scenic. A lot of different types of terrains that make it more playful. Adequate parking space. The jogging track is just amazing. The lake is serene and looks more beautiful at night with all the reflections from the tall buildings around. Various types of flora and fauna are present and really good for bringing kids and family here. I will certainly visit again.

Benjakitti Forest Park
Benjakitti Forest Park is about 72 hectares in size. The land where the park is, was formally owned by the Tobacco Authority of Thailand.
The main entrance of the park spots a big pond. On two occasions, I spotted monitor lizards in that pond!
At the far end of the pond is the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre the venue for APEC 2022 in September 2022.
There's even a hospital within the park (near the secondary entrance/exit from Klong Toei road).
The latest enhancement includes the Sky Walk (Elevated Walkway), which is the star attraction! Thousands throng the park daily during the morning and evenings. It gets very crowded during the weekends.
There are clearly demarcated jogging and cycling tracks.
It is linked to Lumphini Park by a 1.3 km long elevated pedestrian walkway.
Address: Ratchadaphisek Rd, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand (Near Terminal 21)
Opening hours: 5:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Benchakitti Park
#pattayatrip This is a beautiful park with a huge pond in front of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). There's stage in the middle of the pond over 100 meters which is the longest water stage in the country. It includes a central boating lake, an outdoor exercise area, a cycling track and a path that is used by walkers and joggers; bicycles and boats can be hired in the park.
Benchakitti Park- An Urban Tranquility
During our last week in Bangkok, we went to Benchakitti Park as we wanna have a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. After 10 minutes of walking from the BTS, we finally arrived at the park. The picturesque lake, beautiful scenery, and fresh air welcomed us as we reached the park. We also enjoyed some of their water activities, such as paddle boating and kayaking (for FREE), you only need to sign up your name. It is one of the few best places in Bangkok for jogging, picnic, and cycling.

The quite and calm park you should visit
The park where people come to do the exercise, walk the dog, enjoy the music band somedays, and the relax place for people to relieve the stress. The park is huge and we can sit anywhere freely without crowds. We can see the views of many tallest building and the lighting from the inner of any tallest buildings. We can enjoy taking the photo with small lakes as a background and also the lighting bridge is the highlight point people come to take the photo. Come to here on the weekend to enjoy the calm atmosphere.

Explore Benjakitti park
During my recent visit to this park, I was struck by its stunning beauty, which seamlessly blends natural splendor with modern architectural design. In my opinion, this park ranks among the most beautiful I have ever visited, and is perhaps the most photogenic spot in Thailand. The park is also quite expansive, featuring a large lake and an impressive cityscape in the background. I only wish I had more time during my visit, as I would have loved to linger a bit longer.

Love this park, the best place to go for a bit of peace and quiet and see some beautiful flowers. Plenty of seating and some in the shade at different times of the day. Shame that the entrance is not open at the far end of the park near the Exhibition centre, it would save a long walk.
Particularly busy at dusk when families, friends and couples come out in there droves.
