#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck: Little Switzerland of Northern Thailand 🇹🇭 Hot Springs Around Pai ♨️ Pai is about 30 kilometers from Pai town, so it's best to drive. Riding a motorcycle can be challenging, especially on the deserted mountain roads, which can be quite scary. I visited all three hot springs near Pai, and this one has the best views and serves delicious boiled eggs. The large hot springs here aren't too hot, and there aren't many people, so you can enjoy the tranquility. It's recommended to visit in the morning or afternoon, as it can get very hot during the day. P.S. There's no admission fee. Admission is free. #Thailand #Bangkok #MountainHotShowers #PaiHotShowers #PaiTravel #Pai #PaiTour #ChiangMaiHotShowers #ThailandTravel #PaiGuide

Pai Walking Street started when hill tribes and locals in Pai District brought local products and souvenirs to sell to foreign tourists from small stalls. Later, more and more vendors came to reserve space to sell until it became Pai Walking Street. The Pai District authorities therefore cooperated in closing Chaisongkhram Road from the Pai District Office to the Pai River. Traffic was closed, causing both sides of the road to be filled with many shops. This allowed tourists to choose to buy souvenirs such as clothes, pictures, postcards, as well as restaurants and various entertainment venues on this road.

Enough of the little town of pai, the food in pai why not head out right outside of pai towards the pai canyon which is only a short 12mins drive down south from the little village of pai. The Pai Canyon is a tourists attraction, and although this is a tourists attraction this place is free to visit, if you do not have a transport from the pai village you can also rent a motorbike for only 150baht but utmost care is recommended. Do remember when doing this hike, do wear a good pair of walking shoes as the hike after the 1st view points can get abit scary as the hike has an unprotected hiking path where the drops can be scary if you miss a footing. But most people come here for the scenic panoramic sunset from above but the further you hike in, the more quiet and pristine it gets. Trust me! #fallingforfall #pai #hikinginpai #changmai #thailand #hiking #attractions #scenic #view #sunset

This summer, I spent 5 days in a Buddhist monastery and felt a little happier. I stayed for a few days in the north of Thailand at Wat Pa Tam Wua Monastery. I learned about this place from another blogger and was very eager to visit! The monastery is located near the town of Pai, in the far north, and tourists from all over the world come here to find a sense of harmony with themselves and the world. Some come to undergo a full Vipassana spiritual practice. I would love to try it one day, but Vipassana involves a vow of silence and giving up all gadgets for 10 days, and I just wasn’t ready for that at the moment. But in the future - definitely! Anyone can come to the monastery and stay for any period up to 10 days. You register at the "reception," and they provide you with a private hut (as was the case for us), but when there are many people, as I understand, they accommodate guests in dormitories. It’s all completely free! Upon departure, you can leave a donation, but it’s not mandatory. We didn’t leave anything. The monastery has a specific schedule that everyone must follow. During free time and breaks between activities, you can do whatever you like. If there’s no vow of silence, you can socialize, eat mangoes and bananas (which also grow on the premises), read (in my case, I managed to reread "The Subconscious Can Do Anything" and started a book about the Dalai Lama, but didn’t finish it), or volunteer and spend your free time helping the monastery (cleaning, washing dishes, arranging mats and books after meditations, etc.). There’s even a small grocery store on the monastery grounds where you can buy snacks (but personally, I ate so much during meals that I didn’t even think about snacks). I didn’t spend a single penny during those five days - perfect. The monastery grounds are large, well-maintained, beautiful, very quiet, and surrounded by mountains. Walking there is pure joy! I really, really enjoyed being at the monastery, and I didn’t even want to leave. Five days of harmony, peace, free food, self-reflection, and no rush. Sometimes, that’s exactly what’s missing in the endless race of life! Even while traveling, when every day brings new locations and emotions, sometimes you just want to stop and be "with yourself." During free time, you can talk to the monks; they are all very pleasant, kind, and positive. The head abbot is just wonderful, an incredible, bright, sunny 72-year-old monk. He’s in the center of the first photo. When we were leaving, he gave everyone pendants as a farewell gift and said kind words of encouragement. I wear this pendant, hoping it brings luck and light to my path.

Chiang Mai to Pai – A Ride to Remember My trip from Chiang Mai to Pai by motorbike was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. The road, famous for its 762 curves, is both thrilling and scenic, winding through lush mountains, misty valleys, and charming little villages. I started early in the morning, when the air was cool and fresh. As I left the busy streets of Chiang Mai behind, the sound of the engine mixed with birdsong and the scent of wildflowers filled the air. Along the way, I stopped several times to enjoy the view—green hills stretching endlessly and tiny wooden houses scattered along the slopes. One of my favorite stops was at a small roadside café run by a friendly local family. They served me fresh coffee grown right from the nearby hills and smiled warmly when I tried a few Thai words. Moments like that reminded me how kind and welcoming people in northern Thailand can be. The ride itself was an adventure—sometimes steep, sometimes smooth, but always exciting. I passed waterfalls, rice fields, and even a few groups of backpackers waving from their scooters. When I finally arrived in Pai, I was rewarded with a peaceful mountain town full of creativity, music, and relaxed vibes. Watching the sunset from Pai Canyon that evening made every turn of the road worth it. If you love freedom, nature, and a bit of adventure, riding from Chiang Mai to Pai is a must-do. It’s not just a trip—it’s a journey that stays with you long after you return

15 years is a long time. 15 years ago, this place had only two streets, a few small restaurants, and about 20 guesthouses. By evening, vendors would gradually set up stalls at the crossroads. At night, tents were pitched by the roadside, with mats laid out on the dirt ground, forming simple massage shops. Today, Pai has become a well-known small town in northwest Thailand! It still has only two main streets, but countless alleys now extend outward, filled with guesthouses, hotels, and resorts—reportedly over 500! 500+ 😱😱😱💰💰💰 The once small station leading to the Thai-Myanmar border has transformed into Thailand's second-largest backpacker hub, second only to Khao San Road in Bangkok. What remains unchanged is the endless view of terraced fields.

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck at Kong Lan Pai Canyon, Mae Hong Son Province, a popular spot for watching the sunrise. Anyone visiting Pai should definitely stop by at least once. It's incredibly amazing! The walk gets even more thrilling, as the path on the mountain ridge narrows, requiring extra caution. However, the view from the top is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant, with lush greenery and brick-red soil. Don't forget to check in! 📍 Location: Kong Lan Pai, Mae Hong Son 🚗 Parking available at the bottom of the mountain. 🌥️ We recommend visiting during sunrise or sunset, which is incredibly beautiful. #TravelPlan #NatureAttractions #Kong Lan Pai #PaiTravel #Mae Hong SonTravel

I heard that the road from Chiang Mai to Pai has hundreds of curves, so people who are prone to motion sickness will vomit or suffer from severe motion sickness, so I set off a little nervously. As we continued to drive through the mountains, the road was really winding, so there were a lot of turns. Fortunately, I didn't get motion sickness, and I don't get motion sickness easily to begin with. If you're worried, take some motion sickness pills and go. #January travel support event #Pai travel

This is the best restaurant in Pai. There are so many delicious sandwiches. I came here twice to eat. The store is small, but many people come and take out a lot. The recommended menu is just whatever you order, it's all delicious, so you can eat whatever you like that day. They also sell wine that is hard to find here. #January travel support event #Pai travel

Isn't Pai the graveyard of long-term travelers? I wondered why. First of all, it wasn't a graveyard for me. But the scenery is simple but pretty, not complicated, and quiet but lively. If you want to enjoy it quietly, you can do that, and if you want to enjoy it noisily, You can come here and play tightrope. It's like the moment when King and the Clown comes to mind. Another advantage is that you can ride a motorcycle and visit better places on the outskirts. #January travel support event #Pai travel

If you think of it as an old-fashioned trip without a phone or internet, I think you can find most of the local travelers here. All the travelers who came to Pai are here. There are a lot of people and even more parked motorbikes, and it's complicated, but it has a peaceful atmosphere. The scenery is really amazing. #January travel support event #Pai travel

Bye Bye Chicken Porridge Shop, which only opens in the morning, So you have to wake up early. If you wake up late, you can't eat. It's closed, so you can't eat there at all. That's why I missed it once. The owner and the chicken porridge shop lady are a married couple, so I was really surprised. We must have been the only ones who didn't know, but everyone must have known. Anyway, it's so delicious that I want to eat it again. #January travel support event #Bye travel

Pai Terminal is a must-visit place for travelers coming to Pai If you are going to another city in Thailand from Pai, this is a place you must visit. If you have a desired date and time for the minivan, I recommend making a reservation. It seems like the most convenient way is to just make a reservation on the day you arrive. #January travel support event #Pai travel

Monko in Pai (Monko Pai) Address - Wiang Nuea Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province Atmosphere/Location - Monko, a coffee shop hidden on a small hill in Pai. The route to the shop is a bit confusing, but you can follow the GPS on Google Maps. There is a parking lot in front of the shop that can accommodate about 3-4 cars. It is a normal ground. The shop is divided into 2 zones: the area for ordering drinks and the area for sitting. The area for ordering drinks has air conditioning, cool and comfortable. There are about 2-3 tables to sit at. The owner is cute and provides good service and advice. There are many drink menus. I ordered a strawberry cocoa. It was fragrant, delicious and rich. The shop is divided into layers. The bottom is concentrated strawberry juice. The middle is milk. The top layer is cocoa. For those who like sweet, I recommend this menu. As for desserts, I recommend the chocolate croissant and mixed fruit tart that the shop makes fresh. It is very delicious. In the second zone, there is an open-air seating area. There is a Sunset view point where customers can see a 270-degree view of the mountains. The weather is good and not hot. You can sit all day. Pai, also known as the black hole of backpackers. It has become well-known and the number of tourists has increased recently. If you go, I recommend visiting Two Huts in Pai, which has a beautiful sunset. There are only two bungalows, so you have to run close to the open run. #sunset #Thailand travel #Pai

Pai coffee studio, the coffee is fragrant and very delicious. I'm addicted. I went back twice. I was in Pai for 2 days and went both days. The first day, the atmosphere was normal. I felt that the shop was cute. On the second day, it rained and there was fog. The view behind the mountain was very good. I will definitely go again when I go to Pai again. The green tea is also very delicious. The staff at the shop provided good service and were all lovely. When I stepped into the shop, the decoration was decorated in wood tones that gave a natural feeling. We quickly went to order a Latte first, along with a croissant. After sitting for a while, the Latte with soft foam was served. When I took a sip, I said that this was my taste. The coffee beans from Pai were fragrant and mellow, medium roasted, and had soft milk foam. I learned the inside story. The shop owner carefully prepared and did his homework, sourcing various ingredients, selecting coffee beans, and testing different roasting profiles. Before it became the beans for drinking, it had to go through testing and testing again until I was confident. 📍Location: 3932 Mae Hee Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province #Mae Hong Son #Cafe with a relaxing atmosphere

This was my first serious trip to Pai. It was so much fun. The foreigners were so friendly. For me, it was the beginning of the rainy season and the weather was nice. However, during the day, it was a bit hot. But overall, it was good.

Breakfast that looks ordinary but the cooking skill of a famous hotel chef, so it is definitely not ordinary. There are many egg and ham menus to choose from at a price that is definitely easy on the pocket. Which is open for service from morning until 2 pm. The owner welcomes both Thai and foreign customers in a lovely and warm manner. No matter how many times I come to Pai, I will always stop by to have breakfast here.

Pai Walking Street is located in Wiang Tai Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province. It is one of the important tourist attractions in Pai because it is known all over the world. This road is also an important road in Pai District because it can travel to many other tourist attractions in Pai. Pai Walking Street started when hill tribes and locals in Pai District brought local products and souvenirs to sell to foreign tourists by setting up small stalls. Later, more and more vendors began to occupy the trading area, which led to the emergence of Pai Walking Street. The Pai District Office therefore cooperated in closing Chaisongkhram Road, starting from the Pai District Office to the Pai River, and closed the road to traffic, causing both sides of the road to be filled with various shops.
