Grassy Lake in Canmore. Most of the famous lakes are located in Banff, but there is one famous lake in Canmore. That is Grassy Lake! It is a lake with a different color from the emerald lakes in Banff. It takes about an hour to walk up from the parking lot to see it.

Canmore, located right next to Banff National Park! Similar to Banff, it is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, but since it is not a national park, you can do activities that you cannot do in Banff. It is also where I lived and it is a tourist destination, but it is not crowded, so you can enjoy leisurely time.

Three Sisters Viewpoint is Canmore's most famous photo spot, renowned for its postcard-perfect views of the Three Sisters peaks reflected in the calm waters of the stream.
To get there, pin "Canmore Off-Leash Dog Park" on Google Maps to your GPS and park in the free gravel parking lot located on the Bow Valley Trail.
Finding the Underpass: Walk out of the parking lot onto the highway and look for the large concrete underpass/bridge that spans beneath the road and railroad tracks. Following the Trail: Walk through the underpass. Once on the other side, you'll cross the dry, rocky Cougar Creek. Follow the barely visible but clearly marked footpath into the woods towards the Bow River and the Swamp: Within about 5 minutes, the trail opens up to a small, tranquil swamp fed by Policeman's Creek, where you'll find the unique reflection view. This trail is also inhabited by wildlife; you may encounter animals along the way. During our visit, we saw a deer. Try to keep your distance and avoid getting too close. #treesistersview #canmore
