This is a beautiful building that you can see from the Kremlin above or from the esplanade waterfront. It is the exterior that is worth the look. You are not allowed in side. The architecture and metal tree sculpture in the center doorway are something to see. #givethanks #givethanks

This is really people-watchers' paradise! A broad street, with no traffic, and plenty of people, locals and tourists, lots of families, lots of kids. Apart from that, there are plenty of interesting things to see on this street: the Kazan cat, Catherine the Great's carriage, the dragon monument, etc...etc... Not to mention the numerous restaurants, boutiques etc...etc... The ideal time for a casual stroll down this street is probably in the evening. I walked down the street in daytime, it was quite nice. If you are in Kazan for a couple of days, keep some time aside for this street! Well worth the effort. #givethanks #givethanks
