Greenwich Park is our favourite park in London. We love cycling in the park or just exploring the area and enjoying the views.
It's very scenic if you go to Greenwich by boat on the river Thames. The cheapest way to do this is on the Thames Clipper. The park is beautiful and very well maintained and the views towards London are simply superb.

Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) Cutty Sark - London
The British are known for their reverent attitude to their historical past, which is confirmed by many unusual and interesting museums. For example, the Cutty Sark ship museum is a witness to the glorious history of Great Britain in the 19th century. Currently, this is the only such ship in the world, it went down in history 3 years after launching. Departing from the port of Shanghai with full holds of tea, the clipper lost its rudder on the way. They tried to control improvised means downwind, and the ship nevertheless reached the shores of Britain. Now in the museum you can see both cabins and holds with transported goods.
Address: Cutty Sark, King William Walk, Greenwich SE10 9HT.

Let time be romantic to the extreme 🇬🇧 and say "I love you" on the Prime Meridian.
-Greenwich
The last stop of the London trip: the Prime Meridian in Greenwich.
London city skyline 🏙️🌃
Let the sunset in London add a touch of romance to this trip.
This is the romanticism of time and geography that no one can refuse 🌹.
.
The Royal Observatory Greenwich is a comprehensive astronomical observatory built by King Charles II of England in Greenwich, London in 1675. The king also created the position of Royal Astronomer. The observatory operated normally until the 20th century and began to open to the public as a museum of the education system in 2005. The observatory is located on a small hill in Greenwich Park overlooking the River Thames in London.
Here, I see familiar and unfamiliar cities.
I remember the longitude of "home" in Beijing for the first time, 116°25', 👀
.
🔸No STEM major can resist the "geographical starting point", and Mr. Shi loves it all like this. Although I have been in the UK for a year and a half, I didn't come here until he came. We are like pilgrims. He went to see his "geographical ruler" and I saw my "London panorama".
.
☀️The time of sunset varies every day, so half an hour in advance is enough.
🎫 Museum ticket: Students £10, walk-in only.
🔶Sunset observation point
With ticket.
🔸Panoramic viewing platform next to the Prime Meridian (with a view of St. Paul's Cathedral)
🔸Behind the gate of the sky is a long corridor (drink coffee and watch the sunset here; bring your loved one ❤️). I am sitting here quietly, having watched a sunset, so I didn't take any photos.
Without ticket.
🔸Mountain Top Observation Deck (It's windy, wear more clothes, and take care of yourself)
.
Every London trip is full of little surprises and romance. Let's make plans and embark on a journey with amo to discover them all.

National Maritime Museum
The National Maritime Museum is a maritime museum in Greenwich, London. It is part of Royal Museums Greenwich, a network of museums in the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site.
There were plenty of interactive activities for the kids around the museum. Full of historic artifacts. The world map area on the 1st floor was also interesting with the Posideon giving out the Interesting facts about the places. The ship-steering stimulator was also great.
Overall a nice day out. Very informative visit and good way to spend time. Come here and have a look yourself. Would definitely recommend it!

The Queen’s House 👑
I went on a walk round University of Greenwich’s campus and stumbled upon the queens house ( free entry 🌟 ) and saw some beautiful art and decor.
One half of the rooms were marine based as Greenwich is quite famous for this and the other half was of the people whom used to live in these buildings.
The walk itself isn’t much away from the National maritime museum I would say less than a 5 minute walk, it is quite a lovely location to go to on a sunny or warm day as the place looks like it has air conditioning as well!

Voyage Through Time: National Maritime Museum
Wandered through the hallowed halls of the National Maritime Museum, where history sailed in every exhibit. The "Sea Legends" gallery unfolded tales of intrepid explorers, their stories echoing through ship models and celestial navigation tools. The Cutty Sark, a majestic clipper ship, stood frozen in time, inviting me to envision the adventures it once embraced. Amidst antique maps and maritime artifacts, I embarked on a virtual voyage through centuries of seafaring heritage. The museum, not just a repository of relics, but a portal where the echoes of maritime adventures whispered through the ages. #MaritimeChronicles #NauticalHeritage
