Xijindu Ancient Street

Xijindu, located at the foot of Yuntai Mountain in the west of Zhenjiang city, is a historical relic built along the broken mountain trail. In the past, it was close to the river mouth and built by the mountain, with beautiful scenery. Xijindu Ancient Street was founded during the Six Dynasties period, and after construction through the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, it has left the historical remains we see today. The entire street is filled with historical traces from the Six Dynasties to the Qing dynasty. Xijindu is not only called a 'living history,' but it is also an exposition area of historical and cultural heritage in Zhenjiang, as well as a calling card for Zhenjiang as a famous historical and cultural city.
