Liangshan Prefecture | Two-day tour in Xichang

⭐️Day 1: Dashiban Ancient Village—Jinlin Beach—Jianchang Ancient Town 1⃣️Morning 6:34-12:57 Chongqing North Station—Xichang West 2⃣️Take a taxi to a hotel near Lushan (not Lushan) Scenic Area. ⚠️The hotel I stayed at was well-located, but the hygiene was average. 3⃣️Eat beef/mutton rice noodles near the hotel, 15 yuan/bowl. There are strawberries for sale at the entrance of the restaurant, 7 yuan per jin. ⚠️The rice noodles were average, but the strawberries were delicious. 4⃣️Walk to the car rental to rent a bike, off-season bicycle 20/day, electric bike 60/day, electric-assist bicycle 50/day, must return the bike before 8 pm. ⚠️Electric bikes are not allowed on the boardwalk by the Qionghai Lake, electric-assist bikes are allowed, but not as fast as electric bikes, and it's a bit difficult to balance when carrying a passenger. If you're not circling the lake, rent an electric bike for longer trips; rent a bicycle for shorter trips. If you want to circle the lake, rent an electric-assist bike. 5⃣️Ride to Dashiban Ancient Village, where the buildings are staggered in height, and the walls are all orange, making it very photogenic. Inside is the Lingying Temple, preserving the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty. ⚠️It is recommended to wear ancient-style clothing, and there are also ethnic costumes for rent and photo shoots inside. 6⃣️Ride to Jinlin Beach to watch the sunset. ⚠️It has a Dali feel here, arrive around 6 pm to see the sunset. 7⃣️Ride back in the evening to return the bike, then take a taxi to Jianchang Ancient Town. ⚠️The night view of the ancient town is similar to others, but it's not commercialized, suitable for a walk in the evening. There are snack stalls on the road, as well as barbecue restaurants. 8⃣️Take a taxi back to the hotel. 🌟Day 2: Lushan Scenic Area—Qionghai (Fishing Terrace)—Yinlin Beach—Tang Garden 1⃣️Have breakfast at the restaurant at the hotel entrance 2⃣️Walk for about ten minutes to the entrance of Lushan Scenic Area to queue for the cable car. It's a good spot to view the entire Qionghai Lake. ⚠️ The round-trip cable car is 55, and taking the cable car up and the slide down is 65. Go early to queue, otherwise, there are a lot of people, we waited for more than an hour. 3⃣️The original plan was to rent bikes to circle the lake in the afternoon, but it rained halfway, so we didn't rent bikes. We casually bought a group deal at a restaurant to eat fish, then walked to the seaside. If riding, consider going to the Fishing Terrace, Moonlight Town, Yinlin Beach, and Little Jeju Island, all of which are on the lake circuit and suitable for photo ops. ⚠️Be sure to bring a jacket, the wind is very strong by the sea. 4⃣️Take the bus to Qionghai Bay Banyue Hotel, with Yinlin Beach right behind it ⚠️This place is suitable for children to play in the sand. Although it's man-made, the white sand is quite distinctive. 5⃣️Take the bus back to the hotel to get luggage, then take a taxi to Wuyanger Xichang Barbecue, next to Tang Garden, where you can take a stroll and take pictures. ⚠️The barbecue tastes very good, there are many people queuing up in the evening, it is recommended to call ahead for reservations, and group purchase vouchers are available. 6⃣️Take a taxi to Xichang West Station to go to Panzhihua for fun. ⚠️Since Xichang is very close to Panzhihua, the train takes only 2 hours and costs 5.5, so we decided to go to Panzhihua for another two days of fun.
