Ancient Wudang Mountain

Ancient Wudang Mountain EL+1438, was founded during the Sui Dynasty, and has been rebuilt during the Tang, Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties, all by civilian efforts. On the summit, there is an ancient stele from the Tang Dynasty inscribed with 'Ancient Wudang Mountain', which is famous in the Taoist community as the northern Wudang Mountain, with a history that predates other Wudang Mountains in the country. The temples of Ancient Wudang Mountain are built at the very top of the peak, where people say: 'The gods sit within the temple, while the temple travels amidst the clouds.'
