Little city with lots of cultural sights

Winnipeg is often an overlooked destination in Canada. Although it is small in size, it does contain attractions and things which may cater to everyone. As it is a small city, you won't feel it being crowded at all. Head over to the Chinatown, where though there aren't many Chinese businesses left, it's still fascinating to see an area settled by so many Chinese. Walking around its downtown core, you'll feel there's a certain element of a forgotten western town that prevails. As such it does create a certain charm. The city is also home to several museums. There's the Canadian Museum of Hunan rights, the Manitoba Museum and the Forks National Historic site are all worthy candidates. The St Boniface district is a mostly French district so that's interesting to wander around. Winnipeg is also a great springboard into the more northern outdoors where you can enjoy lovely natural parks and lakes and rivers. Overall Winnipeg is a small city with lots to do.There's a certain wild west feel which is quite exciting. There's also a strong emphasis on the cultural landmarks of the city.
