Drive to Wanning. Going south along the east line from Haikou, the tropical style becomes more and more prosperous. Most of the time, there are endless coconut trees and betel nut trees on both sides of the road. Arrived at the hotel, saw the travel book in the room (yes, we didn't make any strategy in advance, wherever we go) and saw the introduction of Bali Village, so I hurried to see it. Xinglong Town in Wanning is a famous overseas Chinese town, and Southeast Asian-style buildings can be seen everywhere. On the map, I saw a national 4A scenic spot "Tropical Rainforest", drove there, but I didn't expect it to be abandoned, and the trees inside grew wildly, and even the big characters on the sign were almost covered. Driving inside, it's like being in a big forest, with tall trees that can't be seen to the end. I went to a very popular scenic spot: Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden. This is the base of the Spice Beverage Research Institute of China Tropical Agriculture Thermology Academy. The most famous plants here are ylang-ylang, lemongrass, cocoa tree, coffee beans, pepper, etc. We chose to take a battery car to watch, blowing the wind all the way, listening to the commentator telling us various interesting plants. My sister is very interested in lemongrass. Its fruit is a bit like green beans, but it is much more expensive than green beans. A bean is probably worth forty or fifty yuan. No wonder the vanilla seasoning is so expensive! However, this bean cannot be used directly as a spice, but must undergo a series of long treatments such as hot blanching, drying, and cooling to become the vanilla seasoning we usually eat. After the visit, you can taste the tea, coconut milk, coffee, and snacks produced here for free in the rest area. Of course, it is a specialty supermarket before going out.
