5 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT VENICE 🇮🇹 🛶

The City of Canals is the perfect place to get lost and enjoy the atmospheric streets, bridges and gondolas 🛶 😍 Here‘s everything you need to know about this unique place: 🗺️ Places to visit / Things to do 1.Rialto Bridge 2.Gondola Ride (There are different rates available depending on if you want to go through the famous canals or not; we paid 80€ for 40 minutes) 3.Cute pier (next to Hotel S. Moise) 4.&5.Day trip to Burano (we paid 10€ pP for a 2 way ferry and it took 50 minutes one way) 6.&7.Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo (8€ pP; dogs are not allowed) 8.We stayed at Hotel Marconi with a view on the Rialto Bridge (240€ a night) 9.Piazza San Marco (go early! This is the busiest place in Venice) 10.Just get lost in the small streets 😍 We’ve been to Venice 5 times and we always got lost 🤣 📍 Other things to do: -Teatro La Fenice (dogs not allowed) -Library Acqua Alta -Bridge of Sighs 🍕 Restaurants -Gritti Terrace -Hotel Bauer Palazzo -We often just grabbed a pizza or gelato and ate next to a canal with an awesome view 😍 🚗 How to get there If you don‘t go by plane and have a car park it in Mestre outside of Venice. From there it takes 5 mins by train. A more expensive option is Piazza Roma directly in Venice. ⏰ Timing Spring, summer and autumn are great times for a visit but keep in mind that Venice gets very packed during the high season.
