Rome’s Most Famous Church St Peter Basilica

St Peter’s Basilica is located right in the Vatican City. Visitor can get in for free . It is open from 7am to 7pm or 6pm depending on season. The best way to visit is either to arrive as early as possible or later in the evening! I had did the latter. As this is a sacred place please dress appropriately or else you might be turned away at the door! I did not get to visit the Cupola as I was late. The beautiful dome on top is projected by Michelangelo and visiting this dome is possible between 8am to 6pm so get there before 6 as they close by 5pm in winter! For 7 euros you can take the elevator to the top if you do not want to climb the stairs . However if you like to take the stairs you still have to pay 5 euros sooo take your pick🤭 Once you reached the top, you can admire the unique view of the nave and altar that I was not to!
