The flavorful mountain homestays in Henan are not located in Zhengzhou

After staying in the mountains for a few days, one feels very relaxed and peaceful. This homestay is in Jiyuan, a 2-hour drive west from Zhengzhou. Xiaoshi Fang Homestay is hidden in the Taihang Mountains, at the birthplace of the story of Yu Gong moving mountains—Wangwu Mountain. The entire homestay features grey tiles and white walls, surrounded by pine and bamboo, exuding the charm of Southern China and an artistic vibe. When I sent pictures to friends in Hangzhou, no exaggeration, they thought it was in Moganshan hhhh, indeed it's also very photogenic. Arriving close to evening, it was not crowded and very quiet. Sitting on the terrace watching the distant sunset, one feels completely relaxed. In the evening, you can take a walk on Wangwu Old Street. It's only a 5-minute walk from the homestay. The rooms are simply decorated with a minimalist wooden style, without any superfluous decorations. Everything is just right. With white walls and black tiles, Xiaoshi Fang has completely overturned my imagination of Henan homestays~ Overall, if the price is right, it's worth a visit. I didn't go to Wangwu Mountain when I was there, just wanted to stay in the homestay for a couple of days. The homestay provides direct transportation to the Wangwu Mountain scenic area, which is worth a visit. You can also have a barbecue at the homestay.
