The church has a nave and two aisles and is decorated with beautiful mosaics and frescoes. The Church of St. John the Baptist was consecrated in 531 and was used for religious purposes until the 8th century. The church is a three-aisled basilica with a narthex and a baptistery. The church is decorated with beautiful mosaics and frescoes, some of which are still visible today. The Church of Saints Cosmas and Damianus is the northernmost and is a three-nave basilica with three entrance doors on the west side. The walls of the church interior were covered with painted plaster. The church is decorated with beautiful mosaics, some of which are still visible today. #cherryblossom2024
