Hornberg-toy train postcard #Black Forest🇩🇪

Never heard before! It is one of these places I wouldn’t go. There is not much to do I thought but I was positively surprised. There are many small hotels and restaurants on Main Street. Getting There - by car or train from Triberg or Hausach. Attractions: 1. City Museum 2. Apfelfelsen observation deck 3. Windeckfelsen mountain peak 4. Hornberg castle ruins (photo 3) 5. train trip to Triberg 6. Duravit Design Center with the world’s biggest toilet Hotels - 1. Hotel Schloss Hornberg (photo 9-14) is one of these classic hotels where you feel put back two centuries and the view from the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous (photo 1&2) For dinner I had a 3 meats Bratpfarnnle (photo 11)and my wife had pork steak (photo 12). Since my job was traveling I have been to mannny hotels but this is one of the few I hope to come back one day.
