Mount Taimu

Fuding Taimu Mountain (5A) has a tourist area of 24.6 square kilometers, divided into Yingxian Bridge, One Tile, Guoxing Temple, Baiyun Temple, and several independent touring routes. It is time-consuming and strenuous to visit all the attractions, which is not suitable for us elderly. This group tour prioritizes safety first, with the guide designating the most conventional Yingxian Bridge route and emphasizing not to take detours for 'adventures'. The Taimu Mountain Visitor Center is located not far from the highway exit ramp. Buses and private cars are prohibited, requiring a transfer to a scenic area shuttle bus (round trip 40 yuan). It takes about 40 minutes to reach the scenic parking lot, after passing through the snack and shopping street, you will arrive at the Taimu Mountain Couple Peak Square (pictures 1 to 2). Then, ascend along the wooden plank path, pass through Baolong Pool, Yingxian Platform (Juxian Pavilion), and finally reach the well-named mountain. At this junction, the path upwards leads to the Xiangshan Temple touring area, while the path downwards goes through the One-Line Sky (pictures 14 to 15) to the One Tile touring area. The guide instructed to return via the Tianzhu Peak and the Sea Viewing Plank Road. The plank road is flat and easy to walk. Along the way, there is an independent touring route to the Gourd Cave (informed it takes 40 minutes), but heeding the advice, we did not rashly enter and only took photos at the entrance as a memento (picture 20). This trip took just over two hours, after which we went down the mountain for a meal. Fortunately, we descended in time, as the afternoon brought wind and rain. If we had been on the mountain, the rainy and slippery roads would have been unpredictable.
