The world cultural heritage My Son Di sản Văn

I mean, it's UNESCO world heritage, so obviously a must see. We booked a private tour with pick-up from Hoi An. Expensive but worth it to have a local guide that can explain everything. We also went very early (8 AM) which is definitely a good idea! No hundreds of tourists disturbing the peace but rather enjoying the sereen environment where My Son is situated. Also the sun was burning already like hell so we were very happy we didn't go any later in the day. the site itself is big with plenty of temples. While all dedicated tot he same god there are differences between them. Lot's of international cooperation to restore the temples which makes it easier to imagine how they would've looked. A real shame that the war damaged so many of them. It would've been amazing to see them while still in one piece! #bucketlistreboot
