Dusun Bambu - Lembang

That morning, I left Jakarta with friends around 6 AM, heading to Dusun Bambu to enjoy some fresh air. The road was relatively smooth, but as we approached Kolonel Masturi Street, fog began to settle, greenery appeared on both sides, and the atmosphere became cooler. We arrived at the Dusun Bambu gate around 12:30 PM, and it wasn’t too crowded yet. We paid the weekday entrance fee, which included a small voucher for food or drinks, and headed to the lakeside restaurant area. We started with coffee while enjoying the view of the calm little lake and the sound of birds. Our favorite spot was the Purbasari Restaurant: sitting cross-legged by the water while waiting for our food—spicy sambal, grilled fish, and fresh local vegetables—all tasted delicious (plus the view made the mood even better). Dusun Bambu is a destination that blends perfectly with nature but is still full of activities; it’s ideal for those seeking relaxation, togetherness, and aesthetic photo spots. If you visit on a weekday, you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere; but if you go on the weekend, be prepared for crowds and extra costs for attractions.
