Ice and Snow Altay (Part 4): Rushing to Hemu

We finally received the news that Hemu Village was reopened after being closed due to a heavy snowstorm. Compared to fellow travelers who were stuck in Burqin for three or four days, we were quite lucky. We didn't have to change our destination or adjust our travel plans; our group could drive from Burqin County to Hemu Village. This day, we had been looking forward to it for so long, thinking countless times that this journey was destined to have regrets, and fantasizing about Hemu Village just as many times. Eventually, we became the fortunate visitors to Hemu after it reopened in the year of the Jia Chen Dragon. The sky was still dim when we set off, everyone was ready to go, and no one was late; we all gathered on time in the lobby. Departing from the hotel to Altay City, we hit the road as the sun gradually rose above the horizon. Heading north, the sun rising in the east warmly shone on me; the sun in North Xinjiang is always so passionate. As the altitude slowly increased, the scenery outside the window was no longer the same as the vast snowfield a few days ago. Driving into the mountains, winding up and down along the mountain roads, next to the road were mountain gorges, and the surrounding scenery was sometimes open, sometimes crowded, sometimes the view was filled with sprawling white, and sometimes weaving through the cedar trees.
