Hemuxiang—Every tree is dyed with autumn hues, and every mountain basks in the waning sunlight

Time flies swiftly by, and another autumn is upon us. This is not Switzerland, nor Finland, nor a foreign land; this is Hemuxiang in Xinjiang, China, known as 'God's own reserve'. Beside the beautiful Kanas Lake in Xinjiang, there lies a quaint mountain village—Hemuxiang, which is also known as 'China's Number One Village'. Wooden houses built from logs are scattered throughout the village, with small bridges over running water and wisps of cooking smoke rising... The simple mountain village scenery, just like Kanas Lake, is filled with a sense of mystery.
