Beijing Guose Tianxiang Peony Garden | A Splendid Spring Display in the Capital

🌻 The Beijing Guose Tianxiang Peony Garden is located in Qiaozi Town, Huairou District, Beijing. It is the largest peony garden in the country, covering an area of 2,000 mu. Since its establishment in 2004, the garden has planted peony groups from the Central Plains, Northwest, Jiangnan, and Southwest regions, including nearly 600 varieties of peonies in nine color series, totaling more than 10 million plants. Among them, there are also over 6,000 perennial and century-old peony trees. Among these peony varieties, the more precious ones include Yao Yellow, Bean Green, Wei Purple, as well as Desert Storm, Black Dragon Holding a Feast, Crown World Mo Jade, First Case Red, Green Curtain Hiding Jade, Gold and Jade Chapter, and others. The peony blooming season lasts from late April to mid-May. Since peonies grow leaves and flowers at the same time, the blooming period is only one week, so the peonies in the garden are planted to bloom early, mid-season, and late. Every year from April to May, the Guose Tianxiang Peony Garden holds a grand Peony Festival, during which there are flower arrangement performances and ancient bell and Tang music performances. Visitors can appreciate the 'national beauty and heavenly fragrance' of the peonies and learn about the nearly 1700-year history and culture of the peony. 🌻 Additionally, the peony garden is open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00. Children under 1.2m are admitted for free, and seniors with a senior citizen card can enjoy a half-price discount.
