Longtan Lake Park 🌲As many know, Longtan Lake Park was once the Beijing Amusement Park, and the giant Ferris wheel has become a stationary monument, collecting memories of the amusement park days, very eye-catching. 🈶At this moment, I've stumbled upon a sea of sunflowers right in front of the Ferris wheel, filled with the feeling of summer déjà vu. I estimate there are about 80 plants, and upon closer inspection, the density is quite high. At sunset, with the Ferris wheel in the distance and a sea of flowers up close, the scene is incredibly picturesque, probably the most romantic spot in Beijing lately. Although you can't get close to the flower sea, just looking at it feels like time has stood still, a summer surprise at the end of July. 🍂Regarding the timing: The blooming period for these flowers is limited, and with the heavy rain forecasted for Beijing next week, you really need to hurry. The best time is around 18:30 in the evening when the light and scenery are absolutely stunning, but you must check the weather first! 👣About the route and check-in spot: No matter which gate you enter the park from, it's a bit of a walk. The specific location is right in front of the Ferris wheel, easy to find. If you're not photographing the flowers, just the Ferris wheel itself is beautiful. But be aware, you can't enter the side of the flower sea; there's fencing and security guards. ⭐About the scenery: It's just as shown in the pictures, the flowers are dense, but there's one issue - the flowers only face one direction, so the viewing angle is only good from east to west. 🏡About the facilities: As a well-established scenic area, the park naturally has many amenities, with plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby. 📷About photography: I think there are two extremes. Using an ultra-wide angle lens to capture the landscape with people in it is a good choice. If you want a close-up, you definitely need at least an 85mm lens to get a sense of perspective and separate the subject from the background. 🎤About transportation: It's in the city center, easy to get to by bus or car.
