The 5-day Japan trip guide is here! The 2026 Fukuoka Tower New Year illumination event is a must-visit. With fireworks, the first sunrise of the year, national flag themes, photo spots, and New Year red envelope gacha activities, save this itinerary and get ready to go! · ------------------- Japan is what we often call the Land of Cherry Blossoms 🌸. Located on an East Asian island, from the thousand-year-old capital of Kyoto to modern Tokyo, it has both the tranquility of ancient temples and shrines and the vibrancy of trendy cities. It's a perfect blend of history and local charm! · ------------------- ✨ Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive at Fukuoka Airport, take a private transfer to the hotel, and enjoy some free time to rest. Day 2: Mount Aso > Kusasenri-ga-hama > Aso Volcano Museum > Aso Shrine > Kurokawa Onsen Immerse yourself in volcanic landscapes and ancient Japanese shrines, then relax in the hot springs. Day 3: Shiraito Falls > Raizan Sennyoji Temple > Sakurai Futamigaura Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) > Keya Cave > Fukuoka Tower > Momochi Seaside Park Visit popular coastal spots and historic temples, and enjoy the New Year light show at Fukuoka Tower in the evening. Day 4-5: Free day in Fukuoka > Private transfer to the airport for your return flight. Explore local Fukuoka food and shops at your own pace to wrap up your trip. · ------------------- Recommended Attractions: 1. Mount Aso ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Address: Takawara, Aso, Kumamoto 869-2223, Japan Opening hours: March 20–October 31, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM Duration: 3–5 hours Standing on the edge of one of the world's largest calderas, you can see the unique scenery of Mount Nakadake, hike through grasslands, and experience traditional local grazing culture. A paradise for nature lovers! 2. Fukuoka Tower ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Address: 2-3-26 Momochihama, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka Opening hours: July 1–December 31, 9:30 AM–10:00 PM Duration: 1–2 hours The entire tower is covered in over 8,000 mirrors. It looks stunning when lit up at night. During holidays, there are limited-time light shows and interactive activities—perfect for photos! · ------------------- ✨ Packing List: 📄 First, bring your Japan tourist visa, passport, and copies, as well as your flight and hotel booking confirmations, which you'll need for customs and check-in. 🔌 Prepare a travel adapter and a power bank. Japan uses two-pin flat plugs. Make sure your power bank is under 20,000 mAh. 👚 It's still hot in Japan in September, so bring lightweight sun-protective clothing and breathable outfits, plus a light jacket for air-conditioned indoors. 💊 Bring common stomach and cold medicines, as well as mosquito repellent, as there are many bugs at tourist sites. Carrying some cash is also more convenient. · ------------------- If you're planning a group tour to Japan, save this post! Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments section. 😘

We absolutely loved Fukuoka, and visiting Fukuoka Tower was one of the highlights of our trip. The views from the observation deck are fantastic, especially in the evening. We came around sunset and it was beautiful to watch the city and the coastline slowly light up as it got darker. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and we spent quite a while just enjoying the panoramic views and taking photos. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Fukuoka, especially around sunset. A great experience and a wonderful memory from the city!
