It's about a 2.5-hour drive from Fukuoka. Is it really worth it? . . . Although the tour guide kept saying the crater could close at any time, some people only saw it on their fourth trip. I'm so grateful for arriving in Aso on a beautiful day. 🫶🏻 I think Mount Aso is the most worthwhile attraction of this trip. Watching the volcanic activity in the active crater. The air was thick with the scent of sulfur. Mmm! It's a spectacular sight not suitable for children. It's a great choice for a solo trip. 😎 . . . #FukuokaItinerary #Aso #AsoVolcano
