Fukuoka is a city we've visited twice during completely different seasons, and it has impressed us equally both times. During the summer, you get lush green vibes along with pretty hot and humid weather.😂 However, visiting in the autumn-winter season—especially around November and December—is incredibly stunning. It's definitely a top road trip destination for us! · start at Fukuoka > Yufuin · Stay in Beppu, a quiet little town filled with natural hot springs (onsen). · Go to Mount Aso! They even offer helicopter rides to view the volcanic crater, but the nearby Kusasenri grassland is also absolutely breathtaking, so don't miss it! Since we were already in the area, we decided to drive all the way to Hiroshima as well. We crossed over to Miyajima Island and found adorable deer roaming all over the place. They're super tame, but remember not to feed them, or you might get nibbled!
