If you have the energy, stop by Xiao’aozi Coffee Plantation on the way back. It’s about a 30-minute drive from the city center in the Nandao River area of Simao district. Jingmai Mountain deserves a full day. Wengji Ancient Village features Bulang ethnic culture and traditional homes. The wooden buildings, temples, and ancient trees are perfect for slow exploration.
