Cathedral Museum

#bucketlistreboot It is located at Placa de La Seu, s/n 09001 Palma. It is a 230 metres 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Open Monday to Friday from 1000-1700, Saturday from 1000-1415, closed on Sunday. The museum is located on the ground floor of the Cathedral and occupies the two chapter rooms; the Gothic room built in the 14th century and the Baroque room, which dates back to the 18th century. A collection of Gothic sculptures, paintings and silver smithery as well as Baroque sculptures and silver smithery are very nice and you should not give it a miss. The cathedral museum is on the left hand side just after you have entered from the ticket office.

Palma de Mallorca is an ideal walking town where you'll discover beautiful architecture and irresistible Spanish charm throughout every street.  Make sure to have plenty of shellfish, delicious ham and local wines and olive oils for a true treat.  A great city for couples or families looking to experience a relaxed side of Spanish culture.

During my visit to Palma de Mallorca, I was enchanted by the captivating blend of history and modernity. The imposing Santa María cathedral, dating back to the 13th century, commands attention with its Gothic architecture, overlooking the serene Bay of Palma. Adjacent to it stands the Almudaina, once a formidable Moorish fortress, now transformed into a regal residence, echoing centuries of Spanish heritage. Buses travel to the Airport

#bucketlistreboot I am staying at the resort at Can Pastilla, The taxi fare from the airport to my resort is Eur 15, so when flying back I decided to try the airport bus. Just outside my hotel around 50 meters walk, the bus A2 comes every 20 minutes, the price is standard Eur 5, and takes 7 minutes to arrive at the departure hall. My flight is Ryan air, you have to check in online, for the baggage at the counter. There are many counters to handle the baggage check in, so it is fast. Immigration security clearance is also fast, so i was inside the airport for 3 hours. For solo traveller like me, you need to find ways to cut your costs, like transport.

#celebratewithtrip Can Pastilla in Mallorca is a typical tourist city, with lots of hotels around.The city is lively in summer and in winter it becomes a typical zombie town. Can Pastilla thanks to its location is also an ideal place for windsurfers. It is also a good spot to see the sunset #fallingforfall #tripblazers #beachlife The beach here is equipped with toilets, showers, sunbeds and is also guarded. What I like is definitely the paseo maritimo, the promenade just above the beach that leads to the capital, Palma. I highly recommend renting a bicycle and going to Palma and back. Views on the way are really great. In addition, you will have the opportunity to feel the island climate and see several towns on the way.

Family-friendly beach resort

#bucketlistreboot Can Pastilla is an attractive beach resort located to the east of the Bay of Palma, Mallorca. Bus 23, 25, 31, 32 and 35 stop nearby, within minutes of walking, you will reach the beach. The beach is clean with lively golden sand, water sports and the attractive promenade, which is lined with bars and restaurants. If you are energetic enough, you can rent a bicycle to a nearby bay or if you are lazy.. no problem, there is a mini train that brings you to Arenal along the beach with a stop in between for Eur 4.50. The resort is pretty relaxed and suites families and those looking for a more laid-back beach resort and enjoys a typical Mediterranean weather, with mild winters and hot summer.

Diocesan Museum

#bucketlistreboot It is located in Carrer del Mirador, 5, 07001 Palma beside Mallorca Cathedral. Open Monday to Friday from 1000-1700, Saturday from 1000-1415, closed on Sunday. MASM is the new name from Diocesan Museum which is designed from different rooms in which four spaces are framed perfectly: Christ, Virgin Mary, Church and Saints. Currently, the collection is made up of more than 1200 pieces of different types: painting, sculpture, goldsmithing and much more. It is worth the visit because it is the oldest museum institution in the island Mallorca collecting and preserving altarpieces and images that had been withdrawn from worship.
