Fantastic place! Top-notch value, and the amenities are incredible. The convenience of accessing the Labor Club from inside is simply unbeatable. Our room was perfect—a king bed, a great bathroom with a spacious shower, and plenty of room overall. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

I recently stayed at Abode Belconnen and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing – it was a perfect 10/10 experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, not just as guests but as pet parents. Finding a truly dog-friendly hotel that still feels modern, clean, and a little bit luxurious is so rare, but Abode nails it. The room was spotless and beautifully designed with a calm, contemporary vibe. It didn’t have that “pet room” feel that some places have – everything looked and smelled fresh. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were crisp and felt super comfortable and high class. What really impressed me was how easy they made travelling with my dog. They provided everything we needed, and had a dog toilet area on level 5 (Sunset photo i posted). Staff were helpful and never once made me feel like traveling with a dog was a burden. The location is also super convenient with shops, restaurants, and even a Woolies just downstairs, plus secure parking. It’s one of the few hotels I’ve stayed at that manages to feel both practical and stylish. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly place in Canberra that still feels like a quality stay, Abode Belconnen is honestly unbeatable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

I have to say that the sunset in Canberra is always a surprise. Sometimes it is red and black, sometimes it is blue and yellow, sometimes the sky is full of clouds, and sometimes the sunset is alone. On the hill in Bruce District, you can not only take pictures of the beautiful scenery, but also have the opportunity to meet cute baby kangaroos. If you are lucky enough, you can also take pictures of beautiful parrots. I will open another post to share a collection of beautiful parrots. If you can't see enough, you can also go to the University of Canberra to see the kangaroos running freely all over the mountains without fear of people. #Canberra
