Alexandria Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
GOOD VIBES ALEX! 🇪🇬
I enjoyed so much with travel to Alexandria as the best time to go in March and April as the city be more quite and in Winter. The best place when you take a fast boat in El Montazah Beach and take Break fast at Helnan Palastine as well a lunch at El Salamlik Resturant, there are many places in Alexandria you can enjoy.
Alexandria is Egypt's major port and the country's second largest city. Unlike the rest of the country, it is cool and wet in the winter, with refreshing Mediterranean breezes during the heat of summer. Alexander the Great founded the city in 332 BC on the site of a small fishing village, Rhakotis. Explore Alex people!

Photography tips in Egypt
Through the car window, taking pictures of the old city of Alexandria with a mobile phone, many people saw me taking pictures, waved and greeted, and some even made a special expression.
In Egyptian scenic spots, if you take a picture of a guy who is pulling customers, you must pay a price, even if you take a picture of his camel, you have to pay. A girl took a picture of a local guy at the Sphinx and was asked for 10 dollars.
Outside the scenic spots, ordinary Egyptians are kind and friendly, and they have never asked for money for taking pictures.
But also try to avoid taking pictures of women's front, this is also the local custom, they do not take pictures of women when taking pictures, tourists must also respect.

It was built in 1932 and was the summer palace of the last king of Egypt, Farouk, and his royal family!

Montazah Palace Gardens Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Sunset in Garden of Palace
Montazah basically comes from the root word of nuzha which means untouched and free. Like the word that it is taken from, the garden itself gives off a very tranquil feeling as you stroll through it while being lightly caressed by the touch of the sea breeze in the evening as the sun began to set.
Montazah Park housed Montaza Palace, a summer palace of the late King Fuad I having the mixture of Ottoman & Florentine styles.
Montazah Park was originally the garden of the palace but has long been opened for public access to enjoy the view of the sea and the palace itself.
There are many things in life you tend to forget but the experience of witnessing the beautiful sunset in the luxury garden of palace Montazah has a way of keep lingering in your memory.

Egypt is the most cost-effective country by many global travellers. If you can stay in a five-star hotel for a few hundred yuan, you can eat a seafood dinner for a few tens of dollars. We will have a whimsy. If you live in Egypt, you should be cool. . When we arrived in Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt, we implemented this crazy idea and rented a room next to the Egyptian summer palace. As soon as we went out, we could see the palace.
The Egyptian Summer Palace was originally called Montazah Palace. It is the palace of the last king of Egypt, Farouk. It is located in a dense forest, adjacent to the sea, surrounded by sweet jujube trees, surrounded by greenery. Surrounded by, summer has also become a summer resort for the royal family. Even though we arrived in winter, if we are lucky, we might meet an Egyptian prince or princess.
Although the Summer Palace only accepts the royal family, the nearby Mamula Beach is half-open. People living in the Xia Gong Scenic Area can enter and exit freely with the access card, while other tourists need to purchase tickets for 15 yuan. Can come in. This beautiful private beach has slowly become a leisure place for Alexander. On sunny days, many couples and families drive to the wilderness.
Is the Alexander Summer Palace really worth visiting?
The city of Alexander is not a typical tourist destination, lacking in numerous attractions. Should you visit the Summer Palace? It's essentially a large park, as the main palace buildings are not open to the public.
It is recommended to take the double-decker sightseeing bus, which costs 20 pounds per person, and it will take you close to the Summer Palace. Then, you can purchase a ticket for 25 pounds to enter.
Although the scenery is ordinary, it offers a chance to experience the local weekend life. You can take pictures of the beautiful Montaza Palace from behind the fences and imagine the luxury of the last dynasty.
Egypt | Summer Palace, a summer resort
🏰Montaza Palace, also known as "the Egyptian Summer Palace", "Montaza Palace Gardens", "Montaza Gardens", "Farouk Palace", etc., is the palace of the last king of Egypt, Farouk.
🏖️The Summer Palace is located right next to the Mediterranean Sea and has been a royal summer resort until 1952. The palace overlooks a secluded beach, surrounded by date palm trees and gardens. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance during my visit, so I couldn't go inside.

It was built by Sultan Qaitbay on the site of the former Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Our family journey to the Citadel of Qaitbay was a fascinating exploration of Egypt's maritime history and architectural splendor. As we approached the imposing fortress, perched on the Mediterranean coast of Alexandria, we were struck by its strategic location and commanding presence. Built in the 15th century by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay, the citadel served as a defensive stronghold against invaders and a symbol of Egyptian resilience. Exploring its labyrinthine corridors and towering ramparts, we marveled at the intricate stonework and panoramic views of the sparkling sea stretching out before us. Standing amidst the ancient cannons and crumbling battlements, we felt transported back in time to an era of seafaring adventures and epic battles, surrounded by the whispers of history echoing through the centuries.
As for our next dream destination, we've set our sights on the enchanting city of Prague, Czech Republic. With its fairy-tale architecture, charming cobblestone streets, and rich cultural heritage, Prague promises to be a magical experience for the whole family. We envision wandering through the medieval Old Town, admiring the majestic spires of Prague Castle, and cruising along the picturesque Vltava River. Next to the Mediterranean Sea of Egypt, stands a miraculous beige castle, Kate Bay Fortress, which is built on the ruins of the Lighthouse of Alexandria and continues the miracle of the ancient century.
This three-meter-high walled castle is surrounded by Mediterranean waters. From a distance, the bright Egyptian flag flutters on the beige walls, as if it were a princess castle in a Disney cartoon. Going in and found that it was not as big as I thought. Follow the signs to the highest wall, through the one-meter-wide stone wall window, the sea of the sea is swaying in front of the eyes, showing a different charm in this small frame.
Walk to the promenade on the castle, where many locals are dating and looking at the Mediterranean Sea. The wind blowing from the Mediterranean is quietly stroking the faces of everyone, through the cold walls. With the breeze, relying on the bench to see the tides of the sea under the castle, you may also see the ship in the distance.
Mersa Materouh Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Far away from the hustle and bustle of Luo, in the northwest of Egypt, close to Libya, there is a quiet and beautiful small town - Matru, built on the coast of the city, with the world's bluest Mediterranean.
ageeba beach in Matru, a seaside town in northwestern Egypt, is far from the city centre and has not been developed yet, so it remains intact.
ageeba beach has a wonderful bay, natural reefs surround the clear blue water, look down from the cliff like a natural square swimming pool, look to the right to see the distant sea and sky, even if It is the heart of depression that will be broken and integrated into it to be cured.
"Matru's beach is the bluest and most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my life." Many friends who have been to Egypt have recommended Mattru to me. I am arrogant that this is the bluest sea in the world, and the blue is incredible. I also questioned the world's bluest sea at first? This compliment is a bit exaggerated, until I stand on the cliff of Matru Beach overlooking the ocean, like the rich blue in Impressionist oil painting, it instantly becomes the most beautiful sea I have seen so far.
It takes less than two minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach. When the sea comes into view, it feels that there is only blue and white in the world. Blue is a flawless gem, white is a silk that shines brightly. When it is blue and white, it will become the Mediterranean. Of course, there is absolutely no garbage that cannot be ignored.
On the edge of this long beach, I found a tree that was blown by the wind. It stood alone on the beach, accompanied by the blue sky and the sea. I walked over and it was a strange surprise. Tango, it is my best dance partner.
Returning to Matrouh, I am once again captivated by its blue
After coming back from the Siwa town near the desert, I finally see this familiar and beautiful sea again.
These days, the waves are a bit strong, with undulating waves on the sea, especially beautiful, but unfortunately, I cannot have a close encounter.
It is said that Egypt has recently entered the season of sandstorms, I hope the air remains clear, so I can enjoy the natural beauty.
Do not miss every dusk in Matrouh
The most beautiful moments by the sea are undoubtedly at dawn and dusk each day, especially as the city approaches twilight, it gradually quiets down, with silhouettes of people set against the sky, resembling a fine oil painting.
Everyone has started to head back, and the sea is about to rest for the day. See you tomorrow!

Top 10 attraction in Alexandria, Egypt.
Dreaming want to have a short escape from hustle and bustle of university's life, my friend and I decided to go to CITADEL OF QAITBAY, ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT.
As we were traveling from Tanta, Egypt, a small village which full of greenary view with tamed dino-size various kind of animals, also the town was so bright and sound as there are no difference between day and night.
Along the road we can hear lorries, motorcycles, cars, and many other type of vehicle blowing their honk. It is also part of Egyptian's unique behavior and attitude which hype me even more.
We were traveling by train and then once we arrived in Alexandria, we have to take TREMCO(public minivan) that will bring us to our destination. It cost us less than 35 Egyptian Pounds to go there from Tanta. The journey took about 1¹/² hours.
Subhanallah!
As we saw the bluish green colors of the Mediterranean Sea, we felt so calm and relaxing.
Alexandria is good place for you to bring your family if you are interested to travel to Egypt ☺️
