Marriott Hotels in Yantai

The hotel is located in the Fushan Development Zone. It cost around 40 RMB to get here from Yantai Station by Didi Express. As the peak season was drawing to a close, room rates had become more reasonable. We booked a 500-yuan garden-view twin room with a balcony, which didn't include breakfast, but Trip.com provided one complimentary breakfast. The view was quite pleasant, with acres of pine forest stretching out in front, unobstructed by tall buildings. It was very enjoyable to have a drink and watch the night view together in the evening. The room layout was standard. It featured an open-concept vanity area with a sliding door that could be closed off, but there was no partition between the toilet and the bathtub. I noticed some previous guests were bothered by this, but I personally found it acceptable. The welcome amenity consisted of two apple juices and a small bag of apple cookies. They tasted decent, but for some reason, the cookies were a bit squashed. Behind the hotel was the beach and the sea. If you had a sea-view room, you'd face it directly. There was a door in the lobby bar that led straight to the beach, where free foot-washing stations were available. The sand on the beach was quite coarse, not ideal for bare feet. Also, it was cloudy on the day we checked in, and the seawater was murky with some seaweed. However, it's a great spot to bring kids to catch small crabs, as the beach was absolutely riddled with crab holes. A stroll after breakfast or dinner was also a nice option. Various paid shared electric vehicles (two, three, and four-wheeled) were available for rent, depending on your preference. During this stay, there were two minor issues: (1) The shower had excellent water pressure, but the bathtub water wasn't hot enough, and filling the tub took a very long time. (2) There was a non-functional connecting door between our room and the adjacent one. Although it didn't affect our stay, it felt a bit awkward. Other than that, everything else was fine. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance!
