Great location right across the street from the western gate of slender west lake. The price is good and there's some bonuses like yogurt, drinks, and fruit placed in the room every day. Ms. Fang and Ms. Ma at the front desk were very attentive and helpful throughout the whole trip and with luggage storage after checkout as well.

The hotel is very grand, right next to the West Gate of Slender West Lake, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. The waiter was very friendly and gave me a free upgrade. I didn't book the hotel's breakfast, but there is a garden teahouse downstairs, which tastes very authentic.

We booked two nights at the Grand Skylight Hotel. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was varied, very good, and served in a very pleasant room. Since it suited us so well, we booked an additional night. The reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We've traveled extensively throughout China. The first time, we spontaneously received a tourist map. The location is good, about 300 meters from the entrance to West Lake Park with the famous Wuting Bridge. Light shows were taking place during our stay. We attended this show on all three evenings. A very beautiful park. We then visited the tomb of the Han King of Guangling and the Canal Museum. There's certainly more to discover. A special hotel in a wonderful city. Thank you for the pleasant stay.
