Perfect location to stay in Pan Pacific Yangon For me, Not the first time i had a great review for this hotel. I had been here several times as it's really the best hotel. Hotel room is cleanliness and comfy bed. And I was really enjoyed buffet breakfast, also I love to sit the bar to chill with my love one. All staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel besides really good locations. You will see a lovely Church from swimming pool and nice to relaxing. Highly recommended to all business and vacation travelers. The hotel staff are friendly and the services are good. The room is large and clean. The first morning, I ordered black coffee at the breakfast buffet. I ordered black coffee again on the second morning. On the third morning, the staff served me black coffee without a word from me. This shows that they are thoughtful and they remember their guests' preferences.

strongly recommended As Parkroyal Hotel is located in the heart of the city, transportation is very convenient, and parking is very convenient. The Japanese restaurant of the hotel is also very nice. Needless to say, the cleanliness of the hotel is excellent since it's a five stars hotel. One can see the employees working in a professional manner due to the good training of the management team. For example, I have been cheering at this hotel's gym for many years because of the friendly staff, particularly at the gym. If I have to give a strong recommendation, I would like to recommend the Parkroyal Hotel's gym. It is because Manager Ma Ninisaw and the trainer (Mr. Sunny and Mr . Soe Than) provided all guests with excellent service and warm treatment. The pool and spa are also clean. I'd like to invite guests who have not yet arrived to come and stay. When you arrive at Parkroyal Hotel, you will definitely feel like you are at home.

My family was in Wyndham to celebrate our son’s first birthday. We asked the staff to help us with the decorations if possible and they did help us with all the decorations as much as they could. Shortly after, the hotel staff ran the door bell and surprised my family with a complimentary cake for our son. The 4 staff who came to surprise us Yee Mon Kyaw, May, Phillis,Myint Myint, my family would like to sincerely thank you all for your effort and kindness. Staff were friendly and helped us a lot. We mentioned when we booked the room that we were going for our honeymoon. The hotel immediately upgraded our room, upgraded our standard room without windows to a luxurious balcony room, and the view of the Ruiguang Shwedagon Pagoda from the balcony. They even prepared roses in bed and bathroom. Another thing that surprised me was that when we finished the view and returned to the room, we found the hotel sent us a beautiful cake and a postcard full of blessings. I was very impressed by their care and service to customers. In addition, the breakfast buffet they offer is very rich and delicious.

HOTEL BALMI, After staying with 4 of my family in the HOTEL BALMI for 20 days, my experience in this hotel will not disappear in my life time memories. The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing. On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. My favourite staff are Patrick (F&B Supervisor) Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain) Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service) Tin Win Aung (Bartender) Thura Maung ( Operation Manager) Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy) Soe Aung (Night Security) Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. As of March 2022 This hotel is being used as a quarantine facility for overseas arrivals. The hotel site is the largest among hotels along a lake in Yangon City, and it is good for guests to take a cool walk in the morning/evening except for quarantined people. It has the lowest cost of accommodation among hotels along the lake, but since it is an old hotel, you can feel the signs of time, but it is not to the extent that you feel uncomfortable during your stay. The quality of breakfast/swimming pool/gym is not at the very high level of a luxury hotel, but considering the daily lodging cost of the hotel, it can be seen as good value for money. Amenity is offering an Australian brand called METIS. There is a bathtub in each room, so you can take a bath in the bathtub, but it is not recommended because Yangon's water quality is not good, but it is better to take a shower. If you want to relieve fatigue in the bathtub, it is better to prepare in advance so that you can cover the bad bathroom with a bath agent.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

Stayed at this hotel for more than two months and was very satisfied. The staff service is very good, especially the Miss Phyo Ei San at the front desk, who is kind and very pleasant to get along with. The hotel is located in the city center, you can see the famous attractions Shwedagon Pagoda, and it is very convenient to eat and shop around. Both security and convenience are very good. Breakfast is very Chinese, there is noodles, porridge is not good, you can eat very well, everything is retro, nothing discomfort is good. If you pack a car like me, all the sights are not far away. It was the best hotel in Yangon where I stayed. We arrived on 29 at 11am, the room was ready and they gave us the room. Our stay there was shorter than we expect, was not the best period to travel, so next day we had to move, we finally found a flight to go back to our country. Even if I paid for a day more, the staff refound us the amount. The rooms are really better thank the pics on Booking. Big rooms (not so usual to find in Yangon), clean and elegantly furnished. On the rooftop we found the wonderful pool, the perfect place to relax ourselves, and forget a little that we had non flight to go back home. There is also the restaurant, where during the morning you can take ur breakfast, lot of choise between salty and sweet. Here u can take also the lunch or the dinner, good prices and nice food. We want to thank the staff for all course our stay here was great, if we will come back to Yangon we definitely come back to your hotel.

Great hotel close to the airport and reasonably close to town. The hotel has shops/restaurants and easy access to both downtown and the airport. Stayed 1 night after arriving in Yangon. The hotel is very slick, well run and professional. Check in was easy and straightforward. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. There is a bar and coffee shop serving Lavazza coffee and other guest services too. The room service menu is good and spa services are very reasonable too. The room was very clean and had a nice, modern over sized bathroom. Although breakfast starts at 6, the restaurant is functioning and fully operational by 5.45. I was leaving to catch an early flight and managed some breakfast before leaving. A big thank you to reception and the chefs/breakfast staff for being very organised. Overall a good stay in a decent hotel. Would recommend.

Breakfast is OK, there are more types to choose from. Breakfast is the same as most hotels from 6:30 to 9:30. The room I stayed in could not have an extra bed. Suitable for children. The location of the hotel is very good, easy to find, very close to the Ruiguang Golden Pagoda. There is a small parking lot in the hotel. It is no problem to park five or six cars, but there are only one or two cars in normal times. The front desk service is especially good. If you go out to play more expensive, they will help you to call the taxi price will be more reasonable. When I left the store, I was in the morning flight. The breakfast at 6:30 allowed me to dine at six o'clock. The front desk service manager I have contacted many times is a man who has been a 13-year-old man. He is a good man, humble and courteous, and good at English. The only problem that arises is that the location of the hotel does not match the location indicated on the map. The position of the five-pointed star in the uploaded image is the location indicated by the route, while the small blue circle is the actual hotel location.

This was my 6th visit to Yangon, but my first stay at the Golden Butterfly. The hotel was chosen for its close proximity to the Shwedegon, our only reason for this visit. The hotel is ageing, aren't we all, but it still maintains some of its old grandeur with its beautiful entrance displaying timber craftsmanship of days gone by. The reception was managed professionally in a friendly welcoming manner. The room allocated was airy and clean, with a very large bed, TV and room safe. The bathroom was of normal size,clean and well maintained however the old style shower bath configuration may be difficult for the aged or those with hip and back problems as the bath stands approximately 50 cm high. We were only at the hotel for three days/two nights and as stated earlier our sole purpose this visit was to see the Shwedegon. During OUR stay the staff were friendly and helpful, arranged taxis for us and provided us with guidance as to shopping. The restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, providing me with a large mug for my breakfast tea rather than the usual 'thimble' size cups. The pool area was clean and a nice place to finish one's evening with a cold beer and a glass of wine. Overall this is a low to medium priced hotel ideally situated for a visit to the Shwedegon. Recommended though older or infirm guests should check out the bathroom configuration before booking.

Stay almost 2 weeks! First and Foremost Mr Aung Kyaw hotel General Manager who made us stay at my hotel yangon ! He is extremely nice and very well listener which is very important for that position! He take good care of his hotel guests and staffs . It was extremely unforgettable stay there because of Mr Aung Kyaw , Also all the staff are really humble and very well listen to guests without any negative attitude towards to others especially Restaurant Mr .Thiha and all F& B staffs and also HK team Ms Su and all who clean our room 501 with there lovely initiatives and front desk staff especially skinny and tall gentleman who ware glass , my apologies that I could not able to recall all the names. Also thanks to two security gentleman who always rent umbrella and really really thanks to General Manager Mr Aung Kyaw who made us to stay that hotel who is the one made hotel extra revenues Thanks very much Mr Aung Kyaw and all F& B staffs and FO staffs and Security team and also lovely HK team along Ms Su !!! If I have to give a strong recommendation, I would like to recommend the Parkroyal Hotel's gym. It is because Manager Ma Ninisaw and the trainer (Mr. Sunny and Mr . Soe Than) provided all guests with excellent service and warm treatment. The pool and spa are also clean. I'd like to invite guests who have not yet arrived to come and stay. When you arrive at Parkroyal Hotel, you will definitely feel like you are at home.

I felt a strong desire from the staff to ”make this hotel a better hotel from now on.” Another thing I recommend is the view from the pool. You can see both Shwedagon Pagoda and Yangon River. There's no pool where you can see both. Shwedagon Pagoda and the Yangon River illuminated by the setting sun are spectacular. It was a very satisfying hotel. My wife and I based ourselves in Yangon and travelled elsewhere almost the whole of February 2019. As we have been at the hotel previously we booked a particular room for our stays. When first arrived in 1 Feb got a nearly similar room but not quite what we were promised. When back from our visit to Mawlamyine we were given totally different but inferior room. Then again when arrive back to Yangon from visits to Ngapali, Pyi Oo Lwin and Taunggyi we were given another inferior room and in addition was moved to a back room where the window look out to the sewage pipes and rubbish filled back bits. Because we were travel fatigue and looking forward to returning home we stayed at the hotel. Perhaps our last visit to the hotel. Positive sides, staff friendly, location central and convenient to some good restaurant. BEWARE: Myanmar now has goods and services consumption tax and as such seek a full price quote for hotels and about 10% surcharge on restaurant fares.
