If you are looking for travel like a local, I would recommend this place instead of going to a high rise building hotel. Location itself is pretty convenient for food and nice dessert shop nearby. Host is very kind and helpful. Room's nice and cozy. If there is any chance to be in Xiamen, this place will be my first choice.

Good value for money. Service efficient. Quiet, comfortable bed, good shower. Walking distance to ferry to Gulangyu (ca. 20min) My room had a mezzanine and a small sitting area, so quite spacious
The house itself is a beautuful old villa. Would stay again.

Great location in the center of the city. Our room had a large balcony to the street, it was nice to listen to the city life and voices from below. Our driver that took us to the Tulou told us this beautiful house used to be the People's Court of Xiamen - and it definitely feels like a place with a history. It has a small café downstairs, and friendly staff, who gave us some tea as a farewell gift. The only thing we didn't like was the aircon that was a bit too cold and we didn't find a way to regulate it in the room.

Friendly owner gave us insert repellent. We didn't know how crazy the mosquitoes were and that insert repellent saved us.
My sons love double storey room . but just need to be careful with young kids.

I stayed 3 days. I liked the location because it was close to Zhongshan Road. And the reception staff was so friendly. The room was a bit cold but it wasn't a big problem. Thanks to the friendly staff and cost-effective accommodations, I made good memories with my friends. I recommend it to Korean friends like me.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa n°68. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, the villa is absolutely gorgeous and it is very well located. The room was great but a little humid. If we come again to Xiamen, we will definitely stay here again.

A very good room, the real scene is exactly the same as the store owner and residents took pictures, you can take pictures. I specially asked the boss to reserve the glass balcony room in advance, it is really beautiful, there is a hint of green outside, and the breeze is blowing.
There are many places to take pictures, and you can order a cup of coffee downstairs in the morning to wake up and take pictures. I would like to book this room next time I come to Xiamen.
