Manxin Hotels in Xi'an

The location of this hotel is nice. There is a miniso shop just right opposite the hotel and some food stalls and convenience shops(7-eleven) nearby ( ~ 1 min walk). The staff are nice and the breakfast hour is long so we don't have to wake up early( 7-11am). There is also a self service free laundry room and is very useful for us.

We booked the Little Yellow Duck family-themed hotel. The room was quite spacious and came with a kids' play area, a tent, and a slide, which was perfect for young children. While its location is fairly central, we encountered heavy traffic when taking a taxi back from the airport. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Yongning Gate city wall entrance. However, the Bell Tower and Drum Tower are over a 10-minute walk away. During the hot summer, a 10-minute walk can be quite tough for children. Dining options are convenient nearby. Just a few minutes' stroll from the hotel, near the Bell Tower landmark, is 'Benpao Ba Shaanxi Cuisine.' It's a popular 'internet-famous' spot, but the queues are long, and I wouldn't really recommend it. The set menu's dish pairings were very odd, and as someone from Guangzhou, I found the Hu Lu Ji (Gourd Chicken) genuinely unappetizing. The hotel's breakfast was quite child-friendly. Like many hotels in Xi'an, this one offered robot delivery service. The room also had a 'Xiao Du' smart assistant, which was very convenient for the kids to listen to stories or watch their shows. On the downside, the hotel isn't particularly close to either Yongning Gate Metro Station or Bell Tower Metro Station, which makes getting around a bit less convenient. If you're traveling with children, I honestly suggest looking for a hotel around the Wulukou area instead, as it's closer to the metro and also has less traffic.

The environment of this store is very good, the transportation is very convenient, there is a subway line at the door, and there is a shopping mall downstairs. It is very convenient for food shopping. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and friendly. It is worth recommending. I will stay here again in the future. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Location near to bell tower but need to walk to main road if you take didi, and the reception will not help on this. Clean room but smelly due to humid, cleaner are super helpful but the attitude of these reception (except the young lady in evening shift) are all are “Manxin”, not up to the standard. Overall ok, but you could get better service if you choose other hotels. Also, no gift and room upgrade as shown in reservation, like fake advertising.

I booked a room without windows, and asked at the front desk if I could upgrade. The front desk helped me upgrade to a room with windows. The room was not big and had automatic curtains. It is worth mentioning that they use a hair dryer from Lifen and the cotton fabric is also from Carnation, which is a bit beyond expectations. We went to breakfast late, and the hygiene of the breakfast tables and chairs needs to be improved. Also, after turning off the main control of the room, the power at the bedside was turned off. I charged the battery all night but it was all in vain 😔. But overall the price/performance ratio is quite high.
