Hotels near Chang’an University(Xiaozhai Campus), Xi'an

Hotel location is near to bell tower ,50mins -1hr from airport. Check in and out were hassle free and all service staff at reception are polite and helpful. Butler JingJing and Xiao ya were around during our checkout, friendly and cheery attitude displayed. Laundry room with multiple washing machines and dryers helps a lot for long travellers like us (little wait). Only thing for light sleepers or non early bird is the room sound proofing, can hear voices from street and announcement from elementary school nearby. Overall, happy stay!

If you’re seeing this review, this hotel had the best, most attentive service we’ve ever had in the many many hotels we’ve stayed at in china and around the world. It’s clean, spacious and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable. • We originally booked 4 nights at Yunheyebo, but we were so impressed after our first 2 days, that we cancelled our booking at Ritz Carlton and rebooked with Yunheyebo for another 6 extra nights. (Pictures are of the executive deluxe family room.) • We had a smooth check-in experience despite it being 3am when we arrived. • Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. They cleaned our rooms everyday, and had free laundry service. Hygiene is really important to us - we were happy at the beautiful design of the room and the CLEANLINESS of everything. • The hotel is new and it’s not just nice in appearances. It’s not a refurbished hotel, the entire building felt new. The decor was tasteful and elegant. • Fantastic location - It’s a few hundred metres from 文昌门 Wenchang Gate, very convenient to visit the ancient city walls. After staying in Xi A for over a week, I don’t particularly recommend staying within the ancient city walls because of the traffic congestion. Yunheyebo was right outside the wall, was walking distance from the most important gate and an excellent base for travel - we avoided many traffic jams here. • Ease of transport - the 永宁门 Yongningmen metro station is a 800m walk away. Private hire didis arrive within 1-2 mins! • Outstanding attention detail from the housekeeping staff - they noticed that we were guzzling down so much water, that they increased the number of bottles of water they gave us (completely free of charge), and this escalated till we were given an entire carton of bottled water on our 4th or 5th day there 😹 Gave us a good laugh, but we are very grateful to the housekeeping staff who took care of Room #10-26 from 1 Sep to 8 Sep 2024. • We received a nice welcome box of desserts, fruits and snacks! I thought a welcome gift would only be given once, but it was refilled everyday! • special shoutout to 盼儿 Pan Er, for the outstanding service throughout our trip. She was extremely responsive and helpful - reminded us that there was free dessert in the evenings, helped us arrange late check out (this was off-peak season so we were in luck, i don’t know if this is possible during the peak period!!), helped us save some dessert when we were out late, etc. Once, I left my hat in a private-hire vehicle, and the driver was coming to the hotel to deliver it while I was not in. 盼儿 Pan Er helped ensure that my hat was sent straight to my room. Thank you again for being so contactable and helpful throughout our trip! • We originally booked for 1-4 Sep, but ended up staying 1-8 Sep and 11-12 Sep. The young lady working at the concierge on 2 Sep at 11pm to midnight was the biggest reason we extended our stay at this hotel. She definitely convinced us. I wish I knew her name, but thank you for making our trip that much better! • The free airport drop off was very much appreciated, it took the stress of planning an additional item off our shoulders. • Service from all the staff in the hotel was impeccable - from the attendants standing around the lobby, to the bellboys, to the 24/7 concierge, to the housekeeping, to the staff at the breakfast restaurant. I’m not disclosing the perks and benefits we got during our trip because I don’t want to set them up for unrealistic expectations 😹 But the staff at this hotel was really extremely nice, accommodating and helpful to all of our requests. • Definitely stay longer so you can explore Xi An at your own pace. AVOID peak periods, national holidays and school holidays if you can! If you’re still deliberating, don’t anymore lol. You’d want to stay in a hotel where you *know* you’ll have prompt support from a local, when you’re in a bind.

The room was decently clean and the hotel staff were nice. However, the room is clearly quite old and this negatively impacted our stay. When we arrived, the room was freezing because the windows were left open, and even when closed they did not seal fully, and some cold air still crept in. The veneer of the bathroom cabinets was peeling off completely, and the shower water was lukewarm at best. The breakfast included was ok. I understand that some parts of the hotel are currently under renovations, so perhaps the quality will improve once those are complete.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The hotel location is strategic, 5-10 minutes walk to 2 subway lines (Bell tower) and very close to many eateries. Design was modern and new. Rooms were cleaned daily and there was free flow of drinking water. Breakfast has quite a variety ranging from noodle soup to porridge and some western selection. Hotel staff was very helpful especially Gai Li 改利 at the restaurant. When we needed to leave early, hotel was thoughtful with the packed breakfast which included yogurt, milk, eggs, bun, fruits and even wet tissues. Gai Li went the extra mile to pack my kids extra fruits and eggs. They made us feel very welcomed.

Easy to locate and location very strategic, near to Zhonglou metro station and just about 10 minutes walk to the Bell tower and the Muslim street food area. We are satisfied with our 2 nights stay here. Spacious room for us 4.

great stay, the staff even knew how to speak a bit of english (which is good because we are foreign travellers). the room was very clean. the elevator sometimes took a long time and could be quite busy (due to patrons of other restaurants in the building), but it wasn’t a big issue. the best thing of this hotel is the location - very close to the muslim quarters and very close to Luomashi pedestrian street so there was a lot of great food a close walk away.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and exceptional service that your hotel provided. I must extend a special thanks to Miss Zhong, the Customer Service Officer, for her outstanding service, particularly in catering to our needs as foreigners. Miss Zhong went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and always went the extra mile to address any concerns or questions we had. Her professionalism and dedication were truly commendable, and she made us feel right at home. Additionally, I would like to thank our room manager Ms Xie (谢立琴）for the fantastic laundry services provided during our stay. Our washed clothing was returned fully folded and in impeccable order, which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Such attention to detail truly reflects the high standards of service that Center Hotel Xi'an（Bell Tower) strives to maintain. Location: Great - right behind Exit H Zhonglou metro station, across the road from Luomashi walking street and comfortable 10min walk to Bell Tower, Drum Tower & Muslim Quarter esp if you cut through the eateries to the right after you exit the hotel. Rooms: Lovely, spacious and comfortable. Toilet had a bidet. Huge TV but no English Channel and couldn’t cast shows from our phone. No view. We also had problems with the smell of smoke. The staff were quick to attend to it but they could only spray the room and once that dissipated the smoke smell was back. Hotel: There was a booth that offered airport transfers from the hotel for just 30yuan per person. The staff were pleasant but I think the most disappointing thing for me as a foreigner who isn’t able to speak Chinese was the lack of any English speaking staff. This to me is more of an Accor problem though. I had booked with Accor, a global brand, with expectations that there would be at least some English-speaking staff and at least one English TV channel (which our other more local hotels in Beijing had). Still overall good stay and I’d recommend it to anyone who can speak Chinese.

Excellent service. Spacious and immaculate room. And the staff? Friendly, warm and welcoming. My stay here in Xi’an was made better with Convenient City Inn. I’m very pleased I chose them. And I highly recommend them for anyone else looking to visit the ancient capital of west China! Notes: 🟢 I usually check negative reviews before I book a stay. Others have noted cleanliness concerns, but as you can see from my pictures, the room was cleaned to a high standard—plus you are provided with fresh towels and brushes etc. daily. 🔵 Some noise came from the vents at night, but it wasn’t enough to affect my stay. I would say the noise was like a low rumble. It made no difference to my quality of sleep. I hope this helps you! ✌️

The air conditioner was not working due to central control switch off as outside temparature become lower. As I booked no window room, it's quite uncomfortable all night as I expected the air flow by air conditioning. I do open ventilation system and i got smell of smoke all night as well. Hotel staff bring the fan for me. They have very good service mind also I have good experience while checking in. By the way, the air conditioner must be control by me not the central control as it in the accoommudation list in my room.
