The owners of the manor are and English/ Chinese couple, and have lived together in China for over ten years. The design of the house is based on Edward Gawne’s upbringing in the UK – large bay windows, Corby-Stepped facades and the Arts and Crafts style of early 20th Century design houses. The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of the county, close to: the rapeseed flower villages of Sixi and Yancun, the County Town, highway access, Congxi Drifting, Rainbow Bridge, Likeng Vilage, Moon Bay and Xiaoqi Village. Our stay was nice. There are a lot of things to do nearby by taxi. The staff was very helpful to organise taxis and visits. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food for lunch or dinner was good, but we would recommend to stick to Chinese options, western desserts are not worth it.

Beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Best veggie dumplings I’ve ever eaten along with great Western and Chinese breakfast. Would go back and to their other hotel where we stopped for tea and beers. Free bikes. Highly recommend. Area is stunning.

Lovely hotel positioned between tea fields and a lake. Great staff, super helpful. We used their bikes from nearby hotel Skywells. Thanks for a great stay.

It's a vacation. The hotel's boat trip is highly recommended. It's beautiful to go boating on the lake. It's recommended to have afternoon tea on the boat. The experience is invincible.

1. There was no one at the front desk when I checked in. I think there will be guests checking in at any time during the May Day holiday. At least someone should be at the front desk to receive and guide.

4. The temperature of the water heater is unstable and the water temperature is difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Then the shelf under the wash basin is already shaky.
