Hotels near Hilltop Village in Windhoek

Would recommend the hotel for a quick stay in Windhoek. It’s located near a mall wifi a cinema, restaurants.

There are two Hilton hotels, one next to the other. It takes 1 minute walking from one lobby to the other lobby. The hotel is new. The rooms are large. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure. The wifi reception is very good. The kitchen is located on the first floor. The gym is closed, but you can use the other Hilton gym. Breakfast is basic: tea, coffee, eggs, sauce, fruit and bread. I wrote to the hotel to ask if they had gluten-free options and they answered yes. When they arrived they had no gluten-free options. The last day of my stay went to the other Hilton and brought me a little gluten-free bread. The hotel is located right, a step from one of the main streets with shopping centres and restaurants, the German church, the North Korean building made in Windohek and some cafeterias. The rooms are soundproofed, so it is very quiet and sleeps very well. Photos that come out on Trip.com must be updated, several already correspond to the other Hilton Hotel. Very big and new, one bedroom and one living room, kitchen and even washing machine. Recommended by friends who like to cook by themselves. But pay attention to it, there is no cleaning service, and only once you check out the hygiene. So the service is basically not available.

Two super days before the flight home to Germany in winter! Very good service and Wednesday cocktail day. The rooms were very clean, well equipped and modern and the staff very helpful and competent. We would have liked to cool a few days longer at the pool area and the breakfast buffet was huge👍

I had a pool facing room, it was large and adequate for use. The staff were professional and eager to help. Many amenities (bars and pubs) are within close proximity. Pool area is beautiful. The menu offers a nice spread and food was tasty and helpings were ample.

Breakfast is very good, a wide variety, most like hot milk and cereals, the hotel's environment is superb, the location is next to a golf course, the environment is very good, the hotel has ATM machines can directly use the credit card to pick up the local currency, but there is a fee This is also more cost-effective than changing the US dollar at the counter. A cash withdrawal fee is about 3 knives, but you can basically buy the card and use less cash. There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel, it tastes good.

A mall is next door but you need to taxi to see any sites. Outlets are strangely hidden behind furniture which makes it inconvenient to charge your phone. The remote for the TV and A/C is bizarrely given to you with the room key, it should stay in the room. And thus the a/c was not on when I entered the room. The free bottles water was not the fridge where I could have had cold water waiting for me. The behind the bed lamp takes the room lighting from dim yellow to natural white yet it doesn't stay on for long and would start flickering. The ceiling light is in your eyes when you're lying in bed looking at your phone. I found a roach in my room so I shouldn't have left my suitcase open. Bedsheets had a blood stain on them. There's no room for towels in the bedroom so it took me a minute to find them in the room. No solid hand soap for sink, just body wash in a tube. Towel had stains on it, bathroom mirror is too low, its next to the sink. it should be a few inches higher. Rate is $51 a night for a single room, they they charge extra per child. Don't get a room on the first floor. The hotel doesn't have umbrellas for guests. The restaurant menu does not have a meat free pasta option for vegetarians. They have a whole seafood section but not a vegetarian option. The alfredo pasta was more like a cheddar soup. Service is slow in restaurant, then asked if I wanted to leave a tip. They had an impressive collection of cakes. For breakfast they put the salami together with the cheese, cucumber and tomatoes and only one tong. I don't want to eat a cucumber that's touching meat. The mushrooms were burnt beyond recognition. Only canned fruit was served at breakfast. I liked the passion fruit welcome drink when I arrived at the hotel.
