Having been a manager for Marriott in the past, I am immediately drawn to what is wrong. Upon check in, the guest service rep had zero personality or friendliness. The in-room refrigerator and freezer had freezer frost buildup nearly halfway throughout. Very early in the morning 5-6am, we were awakened by what I believe to be a dump truck emptying a dumpster, clanking back and forth. Surely they can discuss with their vendor a more reasonable window for pickups, as they are paying for a service? While brushing teeth and washing at the sink, due to where the mirror is placed, you can see the the sink drain is corrosive and in need of cleaning. In a nutshell, they may clean the “top layer”, but where is the deep clean? Disappointing. I know Marriott’s standards which is why we chose this property.
