Hotel Rex

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Rex Hotel and we have nothing but praise for the hotel, its staff, and the food. Very efficient and friendly staff, lovely rooms overlooking the beach with comfortable beds. The food was excellent. We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The hotel is situated in a great location, beach at the front, the harbour to the right hand side and a shopping centre just up the little side street. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, the staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were absolutely divine - cannot fault the place. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful,lovely stat at Hotel Rex. Spotlessly clean and tidy overlooking the sea front. We had room with a sea view which was lovely as long as you don't mind noise .( you do hear everything as the room overlooks the promenade) Bath and shower with complementary shampoos,shower gel etc and fresh white towels..all spotless. Breakfast was brilliant with waiter service.There was a choice of cooked to order options as well as help yourself to cereals,yoghurts and juices. Staff were very polite and treated all customers with respect and friendliness The staircase to upper floors is very windy and narrow in places but there is a lift to help. Reception is manned 24/7. Parking is on the street ,hotel gives you a permit for the length of your stay.We did need to play " hunt the space" as parking spaces were space. A little tip to Hotel Rex..Please could you add some signs showing the way to the dining room . I would definitely recommend Hotel Rex and will stay again.

My elderly disabled parents stayed at the hotel and could not be more complimentary. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. The location is brilliant and the hotel clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and they had an evening meal one evening which they said was excellent.

Had not been to Weymouth since 2012. Booked with Easton Coaches, Norfolk. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. You could vary breakfast. Evening meal different each night, now back home salads and exercise. Musical entertainment Tuesday and Wednesday enjoyed (mainly 60s music).

Once again had a lovely break at Hotel Rex. Food was excellent, compliments to the chef. Lisa and her staff were always happy and courteous and made us very welcome. We were with Eastons coach party and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was spotless. Look forward to seeing you again in July. The Pinfolds and Rumbolds

The hotel is lovely and is in a great location The staff are super helpful, the rooms are clean,comfortable and nicely furnished. The building is beautiful, lots of stairs but there is a lift if you want it. We had a Seaview & it was gorgeous, walking up to the sound of the waves and the seagulls - we will def go back.

Big family wedding at The Hotel Rex. First of all, on the Friday a coach arrives with ten family groups who are met with tea and coffee and are shown to their rooms. It was a wonderful venue to catch up with family that we hadn't seen for 12 years, and we made the most of the bar and restaurant. Then on the Saturday, the bridesmaids had their own room to get changed in, and 10 more family groups arrived including a 6 month old baby and a great grandma in a wheelchair. Honestly, nothing was too much trouble for Lisa and her staff. Their motto was, "There are no problems, only solutions." The staff worked really hard to make the wedding everything that the happy couple had dreamed of. The entertainment was provided by two of their regular performers and the crown danced all night. And as for the food, I can still taste the lamb steak. Cooked to perfection with a full roast and three veg, it was delicious. Fun times, right on the beach front. Loved it.

Just had 4 days for a wedding party at this hotel, wow the staff, hotel and food was brilliant, the wedding totally amazing and views to die for. Nothing was to much trouble and they go the extra mile to meet your every need. Can't wait to go back next year. Weymouth wonderful and hotel and staff.
