The hotel is located on the water and our room was very nice. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the village square where there was a band and libation huts, along with seating and room to dance. The hotel's bar had a great duo playing music and room to dance, too. Highly recommend staying at The Waterfront Inn.

Only negative is they do not serve breakfast in the on site restaurant. There are some nreakfast options nearby--we enjoyed The Flying Biscuit.

The property is older. Needs freshness and up to date furnishings.
I will say this - The front desk gentleman was pleasant and very very accommodating.
The bartender / restaurant workers were unfriendly.
Poor hospitality from restaurant staff to hotel workers.

The service was great. The beds were awesome. It’s a grand hotel with an old fashioned style that could be considered outdated. The lighting in the bathroom was dim, the lamps in the room were huge, taking up the entire tables they sat on. Wallpaper with giant pineapples must be a period trea**ent. But it wasn’t elegant. It really was a nice stay, but not outstanding.

The staff here, are the most friendliness you will ever meet. They treated us like family. My 11 year old ended up being the highlight of all of their days. They knew him by name by the 2nd night in.

Room 301 was very bright, even at night with blinds pulled. You need to install blackout curtains.
We have stayed with you several times. It is time to update rooms and decor. The Waterfront Inn looks a little tired and dated.
