VOI Wildlife Lodge

Our stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable—especially for a safari experience. The highlight of this resort is the breathtaking view of the waterhole. We were lucky enough to see elephants, hippos, waterbucks, impalas, and even water birds right from the lodge while dining or relaxing. It’s an incredible feeling to watch wildlife so closely without even leaving the property. The staff were outstanding—always friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. What really impressed us was their honesty and kindness. We accidentally left behind our passports and money, and the staff promptly contacted us and returned everything safely. That level of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. The property itself has a great atmosphere with multiple swimming pools, a nice pool area, and a pizza garden serving delicious pizzas and cocktails. Food overall was good, with a strong Indian influence. The rooms were comfortable, although the building we stayed in could use some renovation (it seems upgrades are already underway in other blocks). One minor drawback was sound traveling through the connecting door between rooms, and WiFi in the room was not very strong. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was fantastic. The location, wildlife views, and warm hospitality make this place truly special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Kenya.

Amazing experience for me snd my 2 children. The location was superb , we had all the wild animals on our doorstep. The atmosphere was unique. Rooms and all premises impeccably clean, staff so friendly and helpful , value for money . I strongly recommended it to those who wants to experience a unique safari experience.

Well cleaned rooms, the buffet was all inclusive and sufficient, the swimming pool was clean, generally a beautiful place to make memories, we managed to go for the game drive and yeahhh,was awwweeesssooommeee. All this under one roof makes your stay easy. Will definitely come back.

What an amazing location, serene. Well maintained accomodation options, amazing food and even better hospitality. The waterhole is a buzzing hive of activity. Watching the great red elephants of Tsavo come and go, enjoying and floricking in the water is a treat. Never a dull moment. We got some amazing sunrise and moonrise views.

From Man Eaters Lodge we went onto Voi Wildlife Lodge, I have been returning to Voi Wildlife yearly sometimes twice a year since 2017 with my children and this year finally my husband and I had a trip just the two of us as part of his birthday week - cannot thank Prina & her Team enough for kindly organising our SGR train tickets from Nairobi to Man Eaters and all car transfers to Voi Wildlife Lodge and then to finish the surprise for my husband a transfer to Manyatta and finally back to SGR Voi Train Station - the welcome as with all stays was as friendly and welcoming as my first stay all those years ago, when you see so many members of the same staff every time you visit it just goes to show what a wonderful place you are visiting - my usual room A12 was beautifully decorated and it really feels like returning to a second home, the new swimming pool is quite wonderful but then all the other 3 pools are just as wonderful and we spent our time at all of them enjoying the different views. Chef Moses and his Team never ever let us down, the food is fabulous, the welcome and farewell cakes are delicious and such a thoughtful treat, all the swimming pool team are at the ready to supply you with fresh towels and they work so hard to keep the pools and surrounding areas so clean, the gardeners keep the grounds beautifully tidy, the shop is a delight to visit and what more can you say about how wonderful it is to sit on your balcony or at the bar seating area or from the restaurant and watch the elephants walk by, listen to the hippo grunting or the waterbuck just grazing near the waterhole - a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Voi Wildlife Lodge and a special thank you to the General Manager Augustine Mwanake - our stay was way to short but was simply fabulous

Fantastic lodge to stay at on safari. Right next to Tesco east park - the animals come right up to you when eating in the restaurant given it is right next to the park! So expect dinner watching elephants, hippo, zebras & wilder beast and much more! Beyond the wildlife staff very friendly and accommodating and food great selection. My only small complaint is our room was very hot. I’m not expecting air con but fans were much more effective in other lodges on this trip than in this hotel. But it is wouldn’t put me off returning again.

Outstanding service and stunning views describes our stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge. Seeing herds of elephants drinking or playing by the watering holes just meters away was truly priceless - esp when sitting in the comfort of lounge chairs. While the game drives offer sightings of various wildlife (elephants, lions, zebras etc), it was a special treat to see the animals come by the watering holes. The resident hippo is another treat! VWL also has several swimming pools evenly spaced out. Food was excellent. Amenities are great. The nearby Manyatta Camp offers a very different experience in a cabin with its own plunge pool. Overall a truly unique and special experience for the family.
