Vientiane City Center
We stayed here for two nights. The location is good. The room was huge. The bed is comfortable. The room was a little dated, and the windows were extremely dirty. The breakfast was mediocre. The pool was empty as the water was being changed so this was unfortunate as we booked it for this reason. It is quite noisy, lots of people slamming doors and knocking loudly. The staff were not very attentive. No towels in our room when we checked in, no one at the desk when we were trying to check out. It was an okay stay.

The facilities are new and clean. It was inconvenient because there was no refrigerator in the room. Hotel man seems to be not good at English, and communication needs a little ingenuity. If you can't speak Lao or Chinese, try using a translator.

The room is spacious and bright. The furniture is made of mahogany and has a very high-end feel. The room is clean and hygienic. The front desk is polite. The waiters work hard and smile. The service is very satisfactory to the five-star standard. Serve: Shuttle Bus Airport Shuttle:

I was disappointed with this property. I booked a 2-bedroom unit, and my biggest complaint was the many mosquitoes in the room when we checked-in and although we tried smashing them all between our clapping hands, more continued showing up during our 4-day stay even though we kept the doors and windows closed. We were also greeted with a dirty rag on the bathroom counter that a housekeeper had left and a half-full water bottle on the balcony with a cigarette bud floating in it. The washing machine in the room was disgusting… black mold growing all over the rubber door gasket, and it smelled terrible. The room's safety box stopped working, so a hotel engineer unbolted the old box and replaced it with another one. The next day, the replacement safety box would not open, and the engineer could not find the physical key that is used to open the box when the electronic mechanism stops working, so they had to physically destroy the box door with a hammer, chisel, and hacksaw blade to retrieve my valuables. Lastly, the beds were too hard and the wi-fi was unreliable and very slow. There was no effort by hotel management to apologize for these problems and I will not be returning.

We weren’t guests of this hotel but I visited the rooftop bar in the afternoon seeking some fresh air after a dry and dusty day, The European bar manager was most welcoming, the drink prices right and the views sensational. I returned that evening with my partner. It was raining but, if anything, looking more enticing in the rain. The rain didn’t last long and wE spent a very lovely couple of hours there, with the bar manager providing good advice when it came to choosing something to eat. It was such a good experience, I was surprised to see so few hotel guests enjoying the bar. Highly recommended and would return in a nanosecond.

On the last day, I returned to Vientiane. The hotel I booked on Ctrip had no comments before. The location is a bit biased and the hotel's hardware facilities look good. The entrance key lock is a bit complicated. We just had a blackout after just staying, and then let the hotel car send us to the city to play. At night, the car came to pick us up and went back to the hotel, feeling no other guests. The bath water is not hot. The pool is quite big, but it ends at 7:00 in the evening and the spa is very early. The service staff are very enthusiastic, the breakfast is a meal, but the food is quite full. The hotel staff is pretty pretty.
