We stayed here for two nights. The location is good. The room was huge. The bed is comfortable. The room was a little dated, and the windows were extremely dirty. The breakfast was mediocre. The pool was empty as the water was being changed so this was unfortunate as we booked it for this reason. It is quite noisy, lots of people slamming doors and knocking loudly. The staff were not very attentive. No towels in our room when we checked in, no one at the desk when we were trying to check out. It was an okay stay.

Big, smoky seedy smelly molded rooms. We walked in and booked cuz we were on an 8 hours bike trip and it makes us tired. Later we realized that it was almost double (we paid 595k), I saw the rate on google review and it was 360k, fine we know online booking is cheaper. The reception kept asking for paying with USD instead of Lao which I didn’t like it at all. He charged me finally more then official exchange rate. The breakfast was okay in terms of choices but it was a huge disappointment cuz all items were cold, I asked for a hot tea and finally the restaurant manager approached me and bring me a hot tea. All and all, with this room rate, you can definitely find better options. It was a NO for me
Bloom Boutique Hotel & Cafe

I recently stayed at Bloom Boutique in Vientiane and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel's location is fantastic, situated amidst a plethora of restaurants and cafes, and is within walking distance to the night markets. The room at Bloom Boutique is also tastefully done and clean. However, my stay was marred by a disappointing encounter with the hotel's service. I informed the staff the night before for our breakfast to be packed as we were rushing to catch a train; to my dismay, I was handed cold croissants straight from the fridge that morning. When I questioned the quality, the staff's response was disheartening. He snapped at me, muttered something in Lao & took away the bag of cold croissants, presumably to address the issue. However, after waiting for ten minutes, there was no sign of him. Faced with no other choice & no other staff around, I had to leave without breakfast to catch my train. Despite its potential, Bloom Boutique needs to improve its service to provide a more satisfying guest experience.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in a balcony room on the 3rd floor. The guest house is a good location right in the heart of Vientiane. The room was spacious, clean and had good lighting. The staff there are very friendly always greeting my wife and I with a smile. The bed was wide but a little on the hard side for me. My only complaint is that the guest house does not have an elevator, so dragging your luggage up 3 flights of stairs might turn into a physical fitness test. Also rooms are not soundproof so if you are awaken easily by noises don't choose a room with balcony instead choose a room in the interior of the building.

The hotel is in the city centre, 300 metres from the Mekong River, with the rental bike you can visit all the attractions of the city. In the vicinity you find restaurants, pubs, street food; everything you need, even the money changer is at the corner of the road. The rooms are small, the bathroom also , but it's a constant from these parts .... Wi-Fi is bad, if not at the reception, but the room is bad. The staff's kindness makes you forgive everything. The hotels and experiences are excellent, the staff's excellent hospitality is a good one.

I decided to try this new hostel as a budget alternative. It is dormitory style, in a kind of mini-cube design, like Japanese hostels I have read about, but with curtains instead of secure doors. On the plus side: Everything was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The plumbing all worked. The reception area is a nice coffee bar with good food, coffee and tea and good WiFi internet and a nice loop of current music by the original artists. There is also a 4th floor balcony to watch the sunrise. On the minus side: There were no power outlets in the reception area. (But there are two in each cubiicle.) The shower had no hooks or rack to hang a towel or clothes. The cubicles have no secure door, just a curtain. (But there is a separate locker for each cubicle to secure luggage and valuables.) There was no hot water for coffee available early before 6:00 am. And the sleeping area was refrigirated to about 20 degrees C (but the comforter was nice and warm all night). I might try it again, and I will definitely be back to enjoy the coffee.
