Hotels near Piazzetta San Marco, Venice

The location is very convenient. St. Mark's Square and the water bus stop are very close. The style is quaint, some old, and all the so-called sense of history. Ordinary rooms are small, especially the ones that take the elevator downstairs. Because the itinerary changed, I stayed one day in advance and only booked the general room at this location. Feeling bad, dark and narrow. In particular, the next-door tenant still carries a dog, and does not understand that pets are allowed. The dog was calling all night and called the front desk to solve it. The back trip changed to the third floor suite and it felt good. Relatively quiet, there is a motor sound from the ships on the river.

Nice modern hotel. Clean and trendy. Good breakfast. Location abit far from the train station. Need to get a porter if you are carrying a lot of luggaeges like us. 30 min walk to St. MARK square and 30 min walk to Realito Bridge. But walking is the fun part of visiting venice so no complaints .

Convenient to get to by water shuttle from the main Venezia train station on the island. Check in and check out was very pleasant from staff. Location is not particularly close to the main area of Venice which is good as it’s generally more quiet and secluded from the crowds but easy enough to get to the tourist areas by foot and water bus. Room is not particularly big but was clean and had everything we needed including bottled water from the hotel.

It's so near to Venice Santa Lucia station, which made our trip easier. The canal view room impressed me very much. Breakfast is fine, especially when we could sit outside the terrace. Most importantly, the room is spacious, that's a plus to our trip.

After arriving at the hotel on the main island of Venice, the location is relatively good, near the pier. Considering that we had an early morning flight when we left, we chose this hotel. The room was very nice, and the breakfast was also great. The most important thing is that we finally set off. It only takes 15 minutes to take the water bus line A from the airport, which is so convenient

Hotel was just next to the railway station which is very convenient for travelers who have heavy luggages. There is no need to climb the bridge with the luggages also. But there is no slipper or kettle in the room. The room can hear noises from the pavement and restaurants next to the hotel

The location is perfect, right across from the Venice Mestre train station, making it incredibly convenient for anyone traveling to or from Venice by train. After a long train journey, stepping out of the station and seeing the beautiful façade of the hotel feels like finding an oasis in the desert. It's easily the best-located hotel in the area, and that first impression is unforgettable. Check-in Experience I arrived at 11 PM for check-in, and the front desk staff was quick, efficient, and professional. Despite the late hour, the process was smooth, and I appreciated the courteous service. Room & Cleanliness The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Everything in the room, including the bathroom, felt new and freshly renovated. The bathroom was spotless, with all the necessary amenities provided. It’s clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Breakfast Experience One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast room is large, clean, and well-lit, creating a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. The hotel has several staff members serving food and beverages, which ensures everything runs smoothly. There are plenty of hot food options, and the variety of coffee drinks is impressive — you can order cappuccinos, mochaccinos, and more. Everything is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. I can confidently say that the breakfast at Hotel Plaza Venice is excellent. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Plaza Venice offers an outstanding experience. The perfect location, luxurious reception, modern rooms, and exceptional breakfast make this hotel the ideal choice for anyone traveling through Venice. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

The hotel was in a very good location. Just being about a one minute walk away from the Venezia Mestre station, the hub of transportation in the area, it was very convenient to travel to and from Venice. The only complaint that I had was that the hotel had very (very) thin walls. Every time my adjacent (and above) rooms turned on the shower, flushed the toilet, and had a conversation, I heard everything. I even heard somebody urinating. Additionally, the room keeper opened and slammed the doors starting at around 7-8AM, causing me to wake up earlier than I wanted to be. The hotel staff were all great. I might consider staying here again in the future.

Nice hotel. The hotel breakfast is also good. Overall it is very comfortable. We are traveling by car. It is not bad. There are many parking spaces, but there seems to be nothing to do nearby.

Spend a night there to visit family. The hotel is a bit out of town centre but there’s buses and taxis nearby that takes you to the centre in no time. Hotel is beautiful and very modern. They have a very good selection for breakfast. Lunch/Dinner menu is the same but they got food in the bar for the afternoons. Prices are bit on the higher side but the staff is very kind and helpful.
