We spent 2 nights in this hotel. When you arrive you are getting such a warmly welcome. The room was really nice - especially that Venice oriental style. Just the bath, as some already mentioned, does not fit to the room. It is clean and is equipped with everything what you need/expect. Just different from the style. And one more little highlight are the big air con devices in front of the window which a super loud. The rest was really perfect. Breakfast buffet included everything what you need. Just only the powder coffee you can get for the price - rest you need to order separately which is different to other 5 stars Hotel where I have been before. At least one „good“ coffee should be included in the high price.
Overall really a nice stay with a SUPER friendly helpful staff. And the location is really perfect as you are close to the top sightseeing locations.

4 star hotel! What is even written on the facade. Breakfast at a hotel costing more than $600 per night is simply something indescribable ... 2 types of picket juice. Scramble, apples, pears, grapes, 2 types of ham and 2 types of cheese. One kind of bread, tomatoes. This is where the buffet ends) the hotel itself is very old and not cozy. For 2 days in the spa and could not get. Here it is also for a fee. Visiting the sauna and swimming pool for an hour costs 200 euros.

Every time I come to Venice, I must stay at the hotel. It is next to the pier. It is decorated in a palace style and the waiters are very friendly.

Location ideal , so many water taxi options you can take right away . The hotel has its pro and cons . I would like to say that Alvise is a magnificent staff member at many times he would help and was professional while multitasking . One night I had an issue with A/C and unfortunately had to be moved . He promptly made changes along with another staff person Salyan ( sorry may have misspelled name ). The other room I switched I didn’t like felt too dark but they were full so I they fixed following day and I return to my previous room ( better room ) . Alvise made me feel comfortable and was very pleasant. I appreciate that . For breakfast options was repetitive and staff for me was unfriendly. If I get a decent rate I would return very near San Marco and nothing like waking up to Venice .

The staff, particularly housecleaning staff were quite rude…I’d hate to have a guest treated that way…generally and average stay…quality and size of rooms too small. We took it because we stayed here more than 15 years ago…it was because it was close to the venues of Art Biennale….but will never repeat our visit

Your motor taxi pulls right up to the hotel's lobby and a great stay starts from there. Classic style hotel, with a lagoon view, just steps from St. Marks Square. Staff is professional and helpful, rooms are decorated in classic furniture, but with all modern amenities. Our favorite hotel in Venice

Absolutely first rate service, incredible staff, and the kind of incredible luxury and decor that makes you alternately think you're in a James Bond movie, a fin-de-siecle romance, or a Harry Potter movie when you navigate the back stairwells! The halls are decorated with the original hotel owner's collections, and each room is nicely appointed. We looked out onto the canal, which was great for a quick trip to Murano or the airport. The hotel is on the main thoroughfare that takes you to St Mark's.
