The hotel Cosy Rooms Bolseria is hidden in a one way alley in a central location in Valencia. If you don’t pay attention you may actually miss it. The reception is very welcoming, with vintage furniture and wooden beams showcasing a traditional style of old buildings in Valencia. Room is small but clean, with red brick wall and a simple toilet but fully equipped: clean towels, shampoo, body gel, body lotion, hair dryer, etcetera. The highlight is definitely the jacuzzi at the rooftop. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed at first, since it was covered, however we kindly asked the staff who helped us to remove the protective cover and to turn the jacuzzi on. We enjoyed it alone overlooking the Valencia rooftops. Not the best view over the city skyline, but good enough to relax. The water in the jacuzzi was not warm, however given the summer heat it was good enough. Don’t expect any service at the rooftop though, so bring your own towels (or from the room) and drinks if you want to enjoy your time there.

First night in Valencia It was already 9 o'clock in the evening when we got off the train So just find a normal hotel to rest Follow the map to the location of the hotel Then I found out that check in has to go to another location About 5 minutes away, we walked around with our luggage The point is that there's no upfront feeling. Finally arrived at the room, which is 504 on the top floor (double room with terrace) The room is not big, the ba*****t is dusty, the bathroom is not clean The terrace is acceptable but it is connected to the hotel's spa The middle is just covered with straw After we ate and took a bath, it was already past 12 o'clock in the evening But there are still residents chatting in the spa facility The room can be heard clearly without sound insulation As a result, it was after 2 o'clock that the tranquility returned Breakfast is normal, simple style, eggs need to be ordered separately The advantage of the hotel is that it is close to the scenic spot, and the bathing water is powerful Luggage can be stored after check-out It’s not easy to do Lidu next time 😅🤣

Top: everything! Tip: we missed hooks and shelves in the room, but compared to the tops, they also fell into nothing. Next time we will book this again!

Para empezar, la habitación que nos dieron no estaba ni limpia ni higienizada en absoluto. Había cal en la “bañera” y ducha, estaban sucios, había que entrar con chanclas a duch****. El suelo tenía grasa y un montón de suciedad que tendrían que haber limpiado para que ese sitio fuese habitable, además, la habitación desprendía un olor terrible y no desapareció durante toda la estancia (olor a alcantarilla). Si querías ventilar la habitación era imposible también porque la ventana tenía la apertura bloqueada. El WC tenía manchas de colores sospechosos, al igual que las sábanas de la cama. Pedimos una cama extra grande y nos pusieron 2 colchones juntos que no era lo que pedimos, al igual que tampoco pedimos esa bañera, ya que no te podías sentar de lo sucia que estaba (adjunto fotos) el tapón no funcionaba, y estaba llena de cal negra. También pedimos un balcón y no tenia balcón. Para colmo, estuvimos llamando a la de recepción por teléfono, para que supiese la hora estimada de nuestra llegada, porque habíamos leído en comentarios del hostal que había que desplaz**** a otra ubicación a por la llave. Cuando llegamos no estaba la llave aún (la chica ya lo sabia) y mandó a 2 chicos de “prácticas” a qué nos trajesen la llave de la habitación, que cuando llegan vemos que casi no hablan español, y que nos hacen fotos al dni con su móvil personal (sin ninguna autorización) Fuimos a hablar con la recepcionista (que era otra chica, no con la que hablamos por teléfono) para que nos cambiaran de habitación y solicitar un reembolso de la noche anterior, y la chica no nos da soluciones y nos habla con aires bastante prepotentes ( se pone a escribir mientras hablábamos con ella, nos interrumpía y no nos escuchaba) solo nos ofreció la hoja de reclamaciones, y accedimos a poner una porque la mujer no nos estaba ayudando y varias veces la dije que quería hablar con su encargado y no me hacía caso (desviaba el tema) Al final las chicas de limpieza nos ayudaron mucho, ya que nos enseñaron otras habitaciones a petición de la recepcionista y nuestra, súper atentas y muy amables, con lo que la segunda noche dormimos en otra habitación que era totalmente diferente, estaba higienizada, el suelo limpio aparentemente y la cama limpia. La de recepción nos decía que la habiatacion que nos ofreció era la superior, y que cumplía las condiciones ( a la vista esta que no) y desde luego que aunque la habitación a la que nos cambiamos era más pequeña, estuvimos mucho más agusto (aunque sin bañera pero con terraza) En general un servicio pésimo, salvo las chicas de la limpieza.

Todo correcto, lo único la luz del baño/ducha en el cual no se veía casi nada, por el resto todo correcto

I was very disappointed with my stay at Cosy Rooms for the following reasons. The main positive point I'd mention first is the location which is very good for access to the centre and the old town. The beds were also large and comfortable. 1. The noise. Late arrivals to the hotel were incredibly noisy and kept us up very late. The sound proofing between rooms is very poor - you can hear other guests snoring and it kept us awake. 2. The cleanliness. Firstly the sink isn't located in the bathroom which makes washing your hands / cleaning teeth etc quite tricky. The room and shared spaces inc. hallway were not clean. We also spotted a cockroach in the bathroom. 3. The staff were not very friendly. 4. The hot tub is featured prominently on the page to attract travellers but it was empty and unclean when we stayed there - and therefore not usable. I wouldn't recommend Cosy Rooms to others, and were disappointed at the quality especially as the costs were very high (as it was the marathon weekend).

The key barely worked to get into the terrace, and the address I was given was not where I ended up staying

The main picture advertising this hotel is the hot tub on the terrace, when we got there it was off, covered in dust and cold swampy water in it. I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub to relax! False advertising.

No aircon. Lots of street noise until after 3am. Only one source of light very dark at the entrance to the room. On arrival sign instructs you to go to their other hotel to collect the keys.

It is in the historic centre of Valencia, which is very pretty! Positives: - everything is in a walking distance (food and shops) - no carpet in room - hairdryer and towels are given to you - some staff was nice, others a little more cold - room was clean - airconditioning - door to hotel had a code (safe!) - elevator Negatives: - cockroach in room - shower water wouldnt go down the drain easily - lots of 18-20 year olds that were extremely loud when coming back from the door (yelling, slamming down doors,…) - thin sheets - a little far from the beach (40-50 mins with public transport)

You... get what you pay for? The place is one of those tiny new rooms made by chopping up old apartments. The shape was strange, with many corners, making it almost impossible to avoid banging one's shins or elbows. It's also super challenging to navigate around a second person as the walking space is pretty much one channel. There was some overall shabby-chic effect with exposed brick and cement alongside posh-looking fixtures. But, like, jenky posh? The concrete floor did not look clean. There was almost no light unless the window was opened. The bath/shower was a concrete trough, that honestly looked disgusting, but one of us was brave enough to try it. The shower has fixed glass sides, but no curtain - so ample splash-out is impossible to avoid. The showerhead\tap is near incomprehensible to operate and took about half an hour to figure out. I only stumbled across the main shower briefly so used the hose stick mainly. There is a thermostat control but no cooling. It was extremely hot, and without any AC or even fans it was very difficult to sleep. I would recommend this hotel only if you have a penchant for discomort.
