We first came to this hotel in 2014 or 2015. Compared to that time, it seems like everything is there in terms of food, but most of it is appearance. The quality of the ingredients used in the food is very bad. No one looks at the face of the sausage egg. It's that bad. Especially they prepared a fish table, I said ok, this time I bought every fish that will be good, little by little. Or is it all made with sour? I think the reason they make it sour is to suppress the bad taste. There is kebab on the beach side at noon. It's the only delicious thing. The master tray maker gives it with his salad. As for the food, I did not participate much, but the entertainment side is good. Pools are not very clean. We came already knowing that the sea is bad. Aquapark was so much fun.

****Oct 23rd- Nov 1st review**** Arrived 11:30pm easy check in, asked questions was answered straight away. Hotel layout explained for bars, restaurants and rooms. Rooms clean, bit dated but all good. Air con set to 22deg which was fine for Oct but may be warm for the summer. The hotel is a bit out dated and needs a bit of a deep clean here & there but overall the hotel was good inside and out. Location is a bit far from places didnt get a bus but taxi for 7 people €30 back from Alanya. Got a boat tour from online Alanya tours €16 adult €10 child which was good. The company also picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Breakfast was continental plus all of your eggs, hams, salads. Lunch we had daily by the slides. Chicken wings, koftas, burgers, chicken nuggets, pastas, donuts, salads, jacket potatoes, chips, wraps - no need to go to the buffet restaurant. Dinner was great dont know why people say nothing to eat? Fish, turkey, chicken, lamb, pizza, salads, potatoes, chips, bolognaise, kebabs and tonnes of cakes. Pools & slides were fab, loads of beds, beach was better near the Chicken corner & pier!! Sea was beautiful and clear but the sand is rocky and the sea is too - so one to watch for. Entertainment at night was kids mini disco 9:15-9:45 then a show. Just your average cheaper hotel shows nothing extraordinary but kids loved it 🤸🏽‍♂️🤹🏼‍♀️ Entertainment was done in hotel pools during the day and we could but didnt use kids club which is also by the hotel pools Food on offer 24hrs apart from 12-1am and 6am-7am tea & coffee and water available 24hrs bar 10-12am Hotel staff were all amazing everyone cleaning and picking stuff up from the floor as they passed we had a really good craic with them especially the bar staff 🍻 cocktails were fab my fave Mojitos were off the scale 🍸 Loads of seating areas for drinks, and restaurant is big im sure seats found eventually in height of summer. All in all we paid £1600 for 2 adults 1 child for 9 nights. Wouldn’t pay more and won’t go back as like to visit other places but it was a good holiday with lots of positives.

The hotel is massive but cozy at the time. It is very beautiful and clean. So many different facilities like countless pools, bars, playgrounds, waterslides, spa etc. I love how close the sea is and you can see it from the hotel. Rooms are very clean, spacious and beautiful. Food is very good. Such a big selection! I really don't understand people who complain about food. Perhaps they like takeaway food only🤔 although they have pizza, chips and burgers there too. Really want to say thank you to all of the staff! Everybody was very friendly! Cleaners ladies, waiters, barmen, receptionists, entertainment staff, kitchen staff, travel reps, spa staff thank you so much! ❤️ Thank you Eylem, Marah and Elif. There are so friendly and helpful ❤️ Also I recommend you to do a massage in SPA. It is for an extra charge but it worth it! WiFi is for an extra charge. It is £10 per week for a device. The speed is very fast and reaches the pools and beach though. Entertainment is very good although it starts late which is a problem for people with children.

Mixed Experience at Vikingen Hotel in April 2024 - Note that this review is based on my personal experience during a specific week. Ultimately, your decision should be based on your own experiences and expectations. I recently had the opportunity to spend a week at the Vikingen Hotel in April 2024. The weather during my visit was excellent, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius. In this review, I will provide a detailed account of my stay, divided into various sections for easy navigation. While the hotel's size was impressive, certain issues detracted from the overall experience. 1. Hotel and Its Services: Vikingen Hotel is the largest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have visited several hotels in this part of Turkey before. The hotel offers an array of amenities, including multiple pools, slides, a gym, a private beach, and a pier. There are also snack bars throughout the resort, serving burgers, pasta, doughnuts, and delicious Turkish kebabs. Waiting in line for these snacks was a common occurrence during my stay which was during the national public holiday (the end of Ramadan) where the country celebrates and families flock to resorts like this. This negatively impacted my experience. 2. Beach Towel Service: One aspect worth mentioning is the beach towel service. The towels were only distributed during specific hours on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, I missed the designated time slot and was unable to obtain a beach towel for the day. Requesting an exception from the staff proved futile as they claimed to have run out. This shortage might be attributed to the hotel being overly crowded for the festivities. 3. Wifi Extra Fee: To my surprise, the hotel actually charges €10 for wifi, and that's for each person and each device. They don't offer any discounts for families with multiple devices, so it can end up being an additional expense. It's the first time I've encountered this at an all-inclusive resort like this. Personally, I'd prefer to use that money to tip the incredibly hardworking staff. 4. Understaffing: Taking into consideration that my stay was during a particularly busy period, the resort's understaffing issue became more evident. Despite the high demand, there were very few staff members present, and those that were, seemed overworked, such as the coffee bar in the main lobby. Given the magnitude of the hotel, it would have been more appropriate to have at least four times the number of staff members. The scarcity of pool staff and waiters was especially disappointing, as other nearby five-star resorts had waiters who would approach guests to refill their drinks. However, during my stay at the resort, guests had to leave their sun loungers and join queues for refreshments, a process that often took 15-20 minutes. This experience was a letdown compared to the service provided by other resorts in the area. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that whenever there were staff members around, t
